Does anyone have any experience with cleaning and sealing a redwood playset. and what is the process??

There are millions of posts (my exaggeration) about cleaning wood in this and other forums. The techniques for redwood are similar to the techniques for other woods.

Cleaning and sealing redwood is not tricky. Keep in mind that this is one of the highest tannin-content woods out there. The moment you clean it, you are inviting tannins to rise to the surface. be sure to use a Brightener solution after you have cleaned. Keep your pressure moderate.

You don't tell us about the condition of the wood. Is it nearly new or quite old? Has it been either sealed or varnished before? Assuming the wood is in good condition and not previously sealed, a percarb wash followed by a brightener could be fine.
