Residential and Commercial Pressure Washing Specia
Just got a big apartment complex to pressure wash. I need to get approved through Compliance Depot. Has anyone ever had to get set up through them before? I am not concerned about things like background checks, I have nothing to hide. I was just curious about what is involved with get approved by Compliance Depot

What a worthless scam, kind of like a national service company that just subs out cheap work. The service they provide is to verify vendors - but YOU pay THEM to work for the company that uses them. I just don't like their attitude on the phone or the 'tone' of their website, trying to sell you how great it is for you to pay them for their 'service' after they've got to your customer. If thats the only way to get the work then so be it, I don't think there's any backround stuff it's just verifying your insurance and workmans comp. I had a customer who started using them and I told him no thanks (he made the one and only exception and kept me on)

They took our $97 just so we could find out the insurance requirements for a previous customer last year. The insurance cost more than the job was paying and then the customer indefinitely postponed the work.
They are in the business of making sure your insurance meets the requirements they tell the customer they should.
As others have said SCAM

Mark, they are a joke to do work with. They lose your info, say it wasn't ever sent. My insurance company was about to pull there hair out and my poor wife.....the company we did work for did pay us for the fee. I would not have gone through with it if i had not done alot of work for client. Dot your i's and cross your t's and GOOD LUCK! Steve

I wonder if anyone is Using them?

I use them. I've gotten some calls and jobs from them. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to renew with them this year or not. The companies that use Compliance Depot though always go for low bid or it's a 'I need it done tomorrow' type of thing.

I had to deal with compliance depot (more like Incompetence Depot).

I had my insurance companies (truck was separate from the business) and the company that provides the WC send things 2 times a week for over a couple months as they kept on saying that they did not receive the paperwork. I have never dealt with a bunch of incompetent morons like this in my life!

Finally I had to send the emails from all the insurance companies to the apartment complex to show them what a headache it is trying to deal with these morons. The apartment manager had numerous calls to corporate to deal with them and finally the incompetence depot admitted that their program that catches faxes and converts them into files loses faxes all the time. Once everyone involved found out about this everyone was furious to say the least, especially the apartment manager and corporate but they were locked into some kind of contract so they could not drop them.

Once all this nonsense was straightened out and the job was done, I found out by another apartment complex that they started using incompetence depot.

One of their games they play is when your insurance is getting close to expiring and time to renew, they start sending out emails and start making calls like 2 or 3 months prior, just bugging you to death. They sure can bug you about your insurance but they cannot find paperwork that they had faxed to them whether it is a couple days before or that same day. It is really pathetic to say the least!

Sounds like Compliance Depot should have paid you the $90+ dollars for straightening out their mess.
