I buy most of my parts mail order from a distributor that is only in the next state over............therefore, no sales tax, and I have my shipments VERY fast. www.edidistributors.com

I order my pressure washers and R-109 soap from Delco. www.dcs1.com

Xjets and Gutter Zap from Xterior 1-800-XTERIOR

HD-80 from Russell Cissell / Beth www.woodstrip.com

Ready Seal and #80 Brightner from Peirce Fitchett 410-381-8400

Just got a Deckster sprayer from Sunbrite www.sunbritesupply.com

and I get bleach at Wal-Mart :)

Use multiple dist. but always look for the same product at a better cost.

HD80 from Russ. Just down the street.
ReadySeal from Pierce
Brightner from Sunbrite though I did find it at a less cost through Rowlett and ordered 30lbs from them the other day.
Deckster sprayer from sunbrite
Pump-ups by Wolman, from MAB paints
Sponge roller refills 1/2 price through contractors discount from SherwinWilliams (local), better price than lowes or HD.
Oh and soap, either Wolman's blue formula or Russ's EFC38 depending on what I need it for. EFC38 will take off some failed stain and leave good healthy stain on.

i buy from envirospec. i try to support my localities, but last week
when i needed a temp/pressure gauge my local dealer wanted
$123 for it,i ordered the same gauge from e-spec for $49.99.
i also got 10 quick couplers-13 male plugs, fuel pressure gauge, high pressure swivel all for $84.90 plus shipping.

I have to echo Tim's feelings about our local distributor. They seem hellbent on making a year's profit on a single sale rather than building relationships. It is really a shame because I would much prefer to do business within my own community and keep those dollars at home. If the contest was even close, I would do just that. When it is overwhelmingly cheaper to buy from an out of state distributor it just makes economic sense to do so.

Soap > Soap warehouse

Parts > dultmier sales
> e-spec
> some local ( agree with prices the locals think that we cant get it else where so they charge 2st the amount )

Pressure washer > Largo , local, e-spec

Interesting post !!
I tip my hat to ya
I cant waite to read all the replys !

Supplies

I am still trying to find a dealer that takes care of me.

I really dont care about price, except if the prices are really just not justified (Delco). I want quality and I have not found that anywhere. Right now I shop for products that have worked for me and I buy them from the dealers that I know so far and am going to buy from everyone to see what I can get that they sell best. So here is are my favorites:

Do It Right: Awning cleaning soaps and Adjustable nozels
Evirospec: Turbos (although last one did not last as long)
Zep: Hood cleaning (ovenbright)
Higher power supply: Engines/parts
Soap wharhouse (you just cant beat super conc and mighty max)
Local dist (building restoration cleaners)
Masterworks paint (Pitt, Pa) ( Wolman materials)
Dultmier: (when Im desperate)
Xterior: (gutter Zap) Sorry ron house wash was too $$$$$$ started making my Own.
Grainger: cleaning supplies, tools, cleaning tools, equipment, safety gear, etc...........
On large jobs I try and find suppliers that can give me what I need in that area (give back effect) to complete the job.

The bottom line for me is that their is no one supplier I can buy from (sad) I would like nothing more than to make a call order and recieve (without checking price and worring about service). I dont think it is out there YET!

Machines and Chems come from Delco. I really like the help I get when I call them up.
If I am desperate I get parts locally. I have found that I often have a better stock than they do. I surely get better stuff than they sell.

Other wise I get parts from a variety of sources, I used to use e-spec, but gave up on them after being disappointed for the umpteenth time. So I use Higher power supplies, Dultmeier, and most recently Mark to get supplies. Last order he sold me the best hose I have used yet. It has lasted longer than any other I have used.

Scott,
What kind of hose did you buy, that you liked so well? And were did you get it. I run Good Year Galvinator and love it. I have one peace that has been on a machine for one year and have never had to fix it, seven days a week 16 hours a day. It is a little pricey, $1.30 ish, I think. Hope all is well.

Sorry Mike, I di dnot see your question earlier. It is called Superflex II, and it is rated at 5800 PSI. THIS IS NOT THE SERPENTINE HOSE THAT E_SPEC SELLS!!! It does not have the smotth cover and it is lasting for what is for me a long time. I bought it from Mark at Easy Clean Systems.
