Oil-based stain VS Acryl/latex stain?

Any recommendations on which one to use? Any vendors that you guys use that offers stains, strippers, and brighteners that you recommend? The deck I have a job on has acrylic solid stain. Also, i've got a 3000 psi pw, is there a particular nozzle to use for washing this deck or would i have to adjust the psi and if so how would i go about doing this?
