Hot Water temp

Russ I have a Pressure Pro 3500 with Honda 20hp. Lately when I run the hot water it seems to be extremely hot no matter what temp I set the gauge too. Can you suggest what I need to replace? Thanks Hugh

Does it have a thermostat or high limit switch?

How old is the machine? How hard is your water?

Could need descaling.

If you can, get a pressure gauge mounted to the head of the pump and run the machine with no hose, gun, or injector and see what kind of back pressure is in the coil.

It has a therostat and the machine is about 4-yrs old. I use the hot water approx. 3 to 4 times a month only. My water doesn't appear to be hard since most my jobs are through homes with in the city of Gainesville. I have never descaled it. The temp gauge when turned at different temps has no affect of the temp, it is always extremely hot when I have the power to the hot water on. I am trying to find some place in my area to take it for service, but haven't found any place yet. Not sure whether I could fix the problem myself or not. Thanks Hugh

How hot is the water going in? is it significantly warmer then it has been other times of the year? It could be that you are finally getting to the high limit on your machine because the inlet water is warmer.

I have been looking for a good repair shop to do my maintenance. I have found one recommended by Pressure Pro Headquarters which is in Leesburg, Florida about 70-miles one way. I have decided to take my rig to them instead of guessing what is wrong. I am also going to have them do a complete maintenance on my rig so it will be at top preformance. Thanks for the help! Hugh

Well I took my rig to the repair shop today and it was a faulty therostat. I have the unit completely serviced and replaced all filters, plugs and tested. I am good for my months more! Thanks for all the input. Hugh
