I wish I would have thought of this when I lived up north. if I ever move back I will try it up there where people know how to work with each other. I am mostly commercial so it's not such an issue with me but P/W as a whole has been destroyed down here. I am real happy that I dont have to depend on P/W to survive.

I agree Nick, roof cleaning and pressure washing in Tampa is not what it once was. Thank God we have been around Tampa for so many years that we have repeat customers who know we do quality work for a fair price.
I would hate to be a new guy just starting out here in Florida.

With the economy it is hard for new guys to start anything that is competitive. Back in 2010 (when most of these posts were made) we had a huge flood here where I live and there were water restrictions. I am just now recovering financially, I think we will be caught up this year. I almost lost everything, I mean everything. I remember having lunch with a friend and I hardly said a word. Last year was good for us and if all works out, this year will put us over the top and we can start pursuing our dreams once again. PWI, Uamcc and a few individuals who took an interest in helping are what I owe a debt of gratitude. No one knew how bad it was, we still donated money and volunteered our time in church and community events.
