Larry, will the Max-Quat you sell at Deluxe work on Mold and Mold remediation?

I am looking for something other than bleach to use for mold cleaning in houses where they have flooded.

If so, just mix to desired strength and apply and let dry?

I am not sure if you will read this tonite but I will try calling you tomorrow. Thought that this might work on mold and if so, others out there could benefit.

Thanks Larry.

I am answering this on the board for the ones of you who may be interested. I spoke with Chris earlier today.

First I want to apologize for my absence. I have undertaken an additional job with Delux that requires so much of my time that I have very little left for anything.

As I told Chris earlier today Max Quat is an excellent mildewcide. It will attack and kill mold and mildew quickly without leaving an objectionable odor. It also doesn't require the use of a self contained breathing apparatus when being used in a house. All you would need to do is remove the surface contaminants then apply the chemical mixture with a pump up sprayer and allow it to dry.

Take Care

Thanks Larry.

giving this a shot, what is the desired application stregnth? I am going straight at this point but has anyone else used this for killing mold

If I remember correctly, for sanitizing, it is 5 ounces into 5 gallons water and apply direct.

I bumped up the amount to downstream on a large area.

I applied it straight to Black Mold and it did Absolutely nothing. I have a small section underneith the AC drain in the house where the drain got stopped up this summer. I changed filters and noticed a small section of it and decided chlorine was not the choice for this area if possible.

Any other ideas on how to kill it without horrible fumes?

BT200 Will kill it. 5 ounces to a gallon of water. No fumes whatsoever as it is Certified GREEN. I use it all the time Mold Remediation jobs. Let me know if I can help.

I have a sample of it still, I will give it a shot Doug and let you know the results

Mix all that w a gallon of water. Spray it on and agitate it. Let sit about 10-15 minites and rinse it off. I use it all the time to remove black mold form fabric awnings.
