Commercial window cleaning

Really depends on your market. I will not share what we charge here, but my window cleaners earn $45,000 a year +.

I'd have a couple commercial window contractors supply you with a bid, maybe use them as sub's.

Plenty of money to earn doing professional glass cleaning and restoration.

Just shut down 10 stores here Tony, and still have 11 stores that have yet to ever open.

I sure hope you submitted an invoice for you and your sons time and troubles. I did and received a sizable check a couple weeks later. The same company is one of several that has been sending my RFP's, and I have landed several medium to large commercial contracts.

I'm going in for back surgery in about an hour. I'd honestly rather swim with sharks, but I have to do what I have to do. Probably won't see or hear much from me for the next several days, as I'll be bed ridden and/or in la la land from the pain drugs. So if I do post in the next 48 hours, have fun trying to decipher what I type. :jester:

BTW Jim, that company we bid for one time cleaning is shutting down Operations here. The first nine stores are closing in the next couple of weeks.

I have a customer who wants me to do windows on vacancy storefronts.

I need a little help as far as pricing and a proper proposal.

If someone could PM me with some tips, I will appreciate it.

Thanks!

As Jim said it all depends on your market, We typically only get a couple bucks per pane in and out. If you have any pics email them over or pop them up here and Ill let you know what we would charge. good luck.

When I was running my Window Cleaning Business in Idaho, we where charging between $4 and $7 per window inside and out. Windows with a heavy film, grease, paint or tape take at least twice the time as normal. Anything below 10' or so, can still be easily cleaned with a 4' reach pole and a good swivel for the same price.

Until you get as slick as this guy...

you might still consider subing your windows out on bigger jobs to someone that is trusted in your "network".

Thats cool you were able to get that much per pane. The commercial market here stinks.. Residential is good though.
