Should I buy it?

Just talked to the guy on the phone and he said that he would take $1950 for it all. Catch is, he said the burner isn't working and it's sitting in the shop right now down at Superior Cleaning Equipment in Phoenix.

I will be there when they open in the A.M. to talk with Greg and check it out...

What's the worst case scenario here?

Here's some pics of the unit...

Yeah... ok, i'm pretty jazzed.

I've already seen the "vision" and it's already been re-painted in my head. I don't think that i could even find a Landa PGHW5-3500 in any shape for under $2,500 around here.

No, the $1,950 is just the asking price. I think that the shop has about $350 into it now, so far...

I was just trying to get a feel for what all was involved in getting it up and running 100%, before talking to the guys at the shop.

Not here to talk you out of buying it but it looks worse that my 25 year old original trailer I only keep because it was my first trailer. Still works!!!

Tell u about it when you find out about the trailer. It looks like a big text trailer, it's floor has been replaced I can see that from photo.

It's got around 2000 worth of hard work just to make it look good. Keep in mind a new unit might only cost you 5 or 6 gs total.

I have a question. If the burner does not work and its in a shop that fixes pw equipment why is it not fixed? Next question is can it be fixed? Next question is how much to fix it and last question would be how much would it be to buy the burner new if it cant be fixed cause it would be $1900 plus whatever cost plus get it reconditioned.

Yupp... it's rough!

It was kinda a long day.

$1950 (As Is)

Has been sitting for a year,
Carb's varnished and it won't stay running,
Has to run to diagnose burner problem,
buyer will pay the $400 to get it "running",
I think that we will sit this one out...

I have no doubt that it was a money maker, but it's 10 years old and pushing 5,750 hours. If i had a full time job to help pay for repairs, i might actually give it some more thought.

The good news is... i went down and visited with Phil at AAA Pressure Washers & Supply. Awesome guy!

We talked turkey about leasing out a Hydrotek rig...
This still may be an option?

Oh... and now for the video. Go easy guys!
