BT200 Test...

Well, here are the results...
This stain was caused bye a constint leak. This guys car is leaking major oil. He lives down the street from me and I noticed the stain a year ago when we moved in. And continues to park his oil leaker in this spot.

First application I applied the Bt200 at full strength. Brushed it in. Came back the next day and p.w. with heat.

I did the same two days in a row....

Just got off the phone with Chris. I am not happy with his results, to say the least. Am working on an answer for him.

Here are a few more while wet.
I just realized the dates on the pics don't match up. When I turn my camera on it makes me set the date each time. But they are a few days apart.

Those are always fun to remove I've. Had. A few that I just was not able to completely remove and it's frustrating not bieng able to fully remove stains

I gave our sample a try at one of our 15day accounts last week.Specifically I put some down on the oil sheen at the pick up window that usually lingers after cleaning.I also tried it on an area that was thick with both oil and fryer grease near the order box.
The sheen at the pick up window was gone with about 30 minutes dwell, but I did follow up with the lava. The other area was allowed to dwell for almost an hour with reapplication at the 1/2 way point and scrubbed with a deck brush both times. The second area didn't fair as well ,but the BT200 has loosened the oil/fry mix some.
Due to sample size and the small areas cleaned I won't say that BT200 isn't a good product or doesn't work it has a niche I just don't know if purchasing large quantities is in our future.
Doug thanks for the sample I really do appeciate it.

I am a tuff critic but I have to say that I am impressed. I used it on one of our monthly accounts that we have had for a few months. The old oil spots that did not come out with Hot water and butyl degreaser came out and only left a small shadow in the concrete. I went out there at 8pm poured the Bt200 on at half strength and at 8am it was pressure washed. I am still up in the air if it is worth the product cost but the results where good.

Did you take pics Kory?

I gave the BT200 a try again last night and put it up again our Lava mix and shot video.

The BT200 was put down straight and scrubbed it in then down streamed Lava next to it being careful not to cross contaminate the BT200.This area had 15 minutes dwell time while I clean another part of the property.
In the video the BT200 is on the left/lava is on the right.

Coffee stains on fairly new cement

Thanks Doug Rucker

The bt200 worked like a champ and KO'd the coffee stain that the home owner
Could not get out with his DIY (home depot) pressure washer.

I found an oil stain that I will be testing BT200 that Doug Rucker of Green Solutions has sent:
I will be following these instructions.
On Really tough Old Oil Stains:

Sometimes on really tough stains (say ¼ - ½” thick) the solvents have evaporated away and the oil is hard like taffy. You need to 'soften up' the stains before cleaning them. If you have 4 – 6 hours to wait, just apply the BT200™ full strength (after sundown in an exposed area) and let it sit on the surface overnight. If you are in a hurry, use mineral spirits (available at local hardware stores for $1/gallon or less) and pre-spray the stain. This will soften and liquefy the oil and make it easier for the microbes to digest. The microbes in BT200™ love mineral spirits like candy, so when you apply BT200™ to the surface after mineral spirits, the microbes just eat the spirits right up before they start on the stain. This is a unique way to use an inexpensive solvent in a safe way, to help you clean up the stain without adding to the pollution problem - because the BT200™ ‘eats’ the mineral spirits first, there is no residual to deal with. Mineral spirits will also soften gum, making it easier to remove and then the BT200™ will work on the stain left behind. As always, recover your fluids and put them down a sanitary drain and the BT200™ will continue to clean the hydrocarbons it encounters all the way to the water treatment plant

The pictures were takin before BT200 was applied. The product is on the stain, and will sit overnight.

Check here tomorrow for the results.

BT 200 Test

Hey guys my first post. Ive been reading your forum for about a year. Really cool and lots of cool people. I see some guys are having some trouble with the BT200. I thought it was pretty much the same as sw-1000. The reason I was pondering that is I heard the sw-1000 is supposed to be some kind of amazing wonder liquid. I will see soon with the sw it should be here in a week.

I think a good way to apply would be to apply a full strength thin layer on the spot. Im not going to stick any brush in the stain but im sure that would make it or any type of degreaser be able to get in deeper.

When I do almost any concrete area I use my Sodium hydroxide flavored soap foamed on fairly concentrated and whirly it, then wand spot wash and rinse. usually they come out the best they can but supposedly the SW-1000 will take out 99.9% of anything. I hope im not dissapointed.
