I will post a photo of my FAT AZZ each week. Putting the pressure on this time around.

Wont post any nudes, but I'm serious about getting in shape. Not going to fight or anything but like to get down to 190

I just got below 300 after 8 weeks......mile stone today.

Anyone else to fat, feel free to put the pressure on yourself with me. I will randomly post progress here. This will keep reminding me of the goal.

Its not really about being Fat, its truly about living longer. I like my life a lot and want to make it. If I live as long as my parents I'm half way thru my life.

5 kids and want to see the grand kids graduate highschool.

So I have started hiking and biking. The biking is a bit dangerous so I ride in the desert so I dont hurt anyone. LOL

I have a park close by...

This is funny, I have belonged to a Gym for 8 years. I have never walked thru the door....LOL

I think I'm ready to workout now that I'm below 300...

Its actually been years since I have done any serious training.

I want to lift by summer 1500 in four combined lifts.

I feel your pain Ron. I topped out two years ago at my daughters wedding at a plump 440#'s. Unbelievable how it packs on. I am now down 160# to a feather weight 280 (at least it feels that way after how ridiculously large I was. Doing with exercise and calorie monitoring. As you know all the fad diets and super duper eating plans wont do it. Its simple math. Calories in vs calories out. Of course with a proper nutritional balance, I work out at the local Y anywhere between 4-6 days a week. Im one of those weirdos that show up at 5 am. Its nice to get it done with and on to work. When im busy in the busy season I have to adjust my workout time of day but still get er done. After a while its just habit. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your continued progress.

Congratulations Ron!

I need to do something similar.

My big goal for next year is a lot of new pressure washing accounts, another truck, another trailer (need to replace this rusty trailer) and get more hi-tech with the business like quickbooks pro, IPAD, etc...

Ron, that is so great! I'm very proud of you for posting that on here! Takes a lot of guts. My advice (as someone who's battled up and down with weight all my life) -- take it one day at a time and just get moving. Don't push yourself too hard, especially to start with. You've motivated me to hit the gym tomorrow. :woot:

I have been up and down all my life, its all just get moving and eat right. I will just control portions for the rest of my life. We all just over eat, I'll check it out. But truly I just need one sandwich instead of two.
