Thoughts on using a Pressure washer Van Set up

I have a line on an E-250 Work Van......needs minimal TLC.

Want to use this for residential work, stick a hydrotec in there and let 'em go to work.

Who is running a Van? Any pics of the setup inside?

Vans are great, they're rolling billboards. I Love my vans, but I don't have anything mounted in them, and won't.

I pull trailers, nice looking trailers. When you're driving around, there is no doubt what service you provide. Plus it's very VISIBLE very EYE CATCHING, customers that see this combo, will remember the Company name.

CREEPY!!!!! HHHEEEYYY!!!!!!! Watch Chew Talk'in Bout Willis!!!!!!

I had a van when I first started the fumes were an issue even with everything vented out of it there was always a leak somewhere. I also never found them to handle the weight quite as well but I think mine was too light for the job. however it was convenient to drive around especially for the smaller jobs.

I use a van but like Guy, No equipment mounted in it.. Just tool boxes, surface cleaners and hose, etc.... I had a spare machine riding around in there for a few days before mounting it on the trailer and the fumes were pretty bad without it ever being ran...

I've seen Guy's vans. They are definitely awesome rolling billboards.

If you don’t have a trailer though, the chem company won’t let you pick-up SH. If this is you only vehicle this could be a problem.

We buy all of our Chem delivered in bulk and have a 500 gallon tank at our yard where we keep our trailers and trucks.

I would love a van like that...any flatbed really.

Altiva is the same, but not Harcros. The bed walls have to be 3/4 the height of the drum you are hauling. ( not my words, theirs, just curious).

I'm not one for the hassles of hauling the drum around town so I have it delivered. Much less hassle for me.

I absolutely hate driving a van, BUT it has been very good for business. I get a lot of calls from my van and have been told by customers that they went with me because of the professional appearance.

A couple of weeks ago while eating lunch I received a call from an attorney who said he just passed my van and asked if I would quote his home. While doing his home his neighbor asked me to do his also $800 between the two homes. Last week I was on my way to quote some condos. I stopped at McDonalds to use the restroom and someone followed me in and said he saw my van and asked if i would follow him to his house and give him a price (got the job) after I left there and was going to my appointment I received another call from someone who said they just passed me and asked if I could go by her house and give her a price (got that one too) $750 for those two. Yesterday while leaving Office Depot a lady stopped me as I was driving away (I am pressure washing her house and guest house tomorrow) $$$ not yet determined.

This happens fairly often. I spent $300 for the lettering on my van it's not fancy but it is very clean and effective.

I tried the van thing for awhile. Was a pain. Not nearly enough room!

Also, tried picking up ox and caustic from univar... That was a no go. I Immediatly started looking for something else.
