The one in Charleston was during the week - don't recall your being at that one? It's Myrtle Beach - bring your family (assuming that your weekends are family time) 
I like them during the week too, I think it's because we are full-time. 70% of the guys that attend are part time guys.
Most industry type trade shows run weekdays. The cleaning industry does not follow this except for Ceta. Pwna used too.

I'm with you on this. Weekends are for family or fun. That's one reason we dropped fleets.

Nice haha....but no seriously its golf, eating, hanging out, and learning a little bit. Only has to be chore if you make it one

THIS particular thing is being scheduled at a location that is family friendly - the RT is NOT geared to be a heart-thumping, all day experience and there is other "entertainment" scheduled in the form of golf. I have ALWAYS encouraged family to get involved in these get-togethers.
I was just thinking, Jeff will be coming. If he brings as many family members to MB as he did UAMCC you will surely get over 40. I heard he brought 40 family members...

LOL,love it when I crack up reading a post. Just my wife and her Dad. He's an office type and he absolutely loved the convention. I think he probably went to more of the break out sessions than any contractors. He ate the stuff up and really enjoyed it all. He was there every day first thing in the morning and one of the last to leave each day. I'm glad I took him, he still talks about it.
Oops my niece and her hubby who live in Orlando did come one day and I put them up in the hotel over night, that was fun to hang with them and let her see what her Uncle Jeff does...she's one of my biggest fans over the years. Man I'm getting old. I remember spending winters in Orlando when I would get laid off in the winter from the union and going to Disney and all kinds of fun kid stuff with her and my nephew. Now she's out of college, a full fledged psychologist, married and her 1st baby on the way. Time flys
Ya know Ron, I wish all the BS at the time wasnt going on. I think, I know you would of really liked the event, a lot of people would of. Maybe next big show there will be less or no divide and problems and everyone can go and learn, enjoy and have fun. Maybe actually pay for the whole thing too :shocked2:
Someone else is going to have to pull that off. I dont see the UAMCC or PWNA doing anything like that any time soon. Maybe your Phx show

Yeah I missed a good one, yeah it was at a nice Hotel. You know I looked at that hotel in 2008 thats why i had all the video. I knew the industry wasnt ready for that place. Beautiful Joint!!! BIG DREAMERS WE ARE...
Talking stick is nice in pHX, its will never be as nice as the Marriot at Disney.
Good luck with the MB thing, I plan on doing MB this year again. The hotel was great Jeff, we loved it. Had a lot of fun all summer on the different beaches.
Jeff if your game I will Fly you my treat you and Lisa, the kids will have to stay home. My buddy has a real nice place on the Beach in Mexico, 3.5 hour drive from the house on the Baja. Sand Toys fishing and lots of drinking and nite Clubs. You and LISA would love it, a paridise like being in the carribian but 25% of the cost. Its safe too, been going since i was a Kid. Dont beleive the stories they are just to keep all the tourist out. LOL:yes4:

I think if the industry on the BB's weren't fighting at the time and dealing with what was going on, I really think the industry would of been ready for a convention like that. It was close to a total package, could of had a couple changes for sure. But I liked the big room atmosphere of it all, I liked the great lunches, I liked all the break outs going on and people rushing around to get back to the general session. I liked the Keynote, the sponsoring of events. I liked the place for sure and the after hours right at the hotel was AWESOME, people hung out until 2, 3 4 am talking drinking, smoking cigars and all. Really bums me out it all got tainted, everyone that went really liked the whole thing
I really think with more time, with the promotion that went on and you promoting it also it could of even a better, a huger success I really think our industry is ready, but just gun shy to pull the trigger on another event in a high dollar place. But thats here nor there now
As for Mexico, I'll take you up on it some year, just not this year hanging close to home due to Moms health. Thanks, but sure you don't want to bring Celeste instead, sorry couldn't resist

Large Conventions are not in Rons future. I like the EXPO Arena....will see how Arizona goes this year!!!

* Steve Stephens (The Pressure Cleaning Bible) will be speaking on a little of everything - we're very excited to have him there!
* Roger Gothorp - PWNC member will moderate Safe Graffiti Removal
* Terry - Remedial Solutions of Myrtle Beach is going to explain and break down how to actually decipher all of those reports you get from Google about your website!
* Using an IPad for sales (Demetric - don't forget - you're on the hook now!)
* Seal n Lock - paver sealing
We still need folks for Michael K's class - it's going to take more than just a half dozen of us for him to travel all the way down here! This is an awesome deal for $67 ($57 for PWNC)!
