Tampa Event Mobile Cleaning Seminar

Lou, there was all the free booze you could drink in the Party Room. How did you miss that?

I don't care about free booze Thad even though I would pass it up.lol ........The whole Time I was there no one knew what was going on as far as going out to party.

Its nice to have a place to have hang out and talk ........lobby bar ect...then go hit bourbon street. I agree we wash concrete...no need for a hotel restaurant unless you wanna grab a quick bite to eat. Most hotel that have bars have restaurants.....

OK, just an idea I have been thinking about for a while. Contractors come to these events for (The Most Part) "Education" but Hotels are not really set up with enough "Classrooms". Why not approach an area Community College and have a "Real" educational RT there? Main area would be the Auditorium, you can have a "Big Name Speaker" speak for an hour or so, dismiss, attendees then go to whatever class room for whatever class at that time. Whenever that class is over, go to the next class, finish that one go back to the Auditorium for another speaker. I'm talking Real School!! I'm talking Instructors Teaching Sales, Marketing, Equipment Repair, SEO'ing, etc, and I'm talking about "Meat & Taters" Education here and not just the "Fluff" I've seen lately.

Now what would Contractors pay for that??? Personally I would pay $300+ for a 2 day Learning experience like that.

Is something like that "Do-able"?

Great idea .............Guy. If you have a local person in the county of the RT you could rent a room at the local library. Most large libraries have large meeting rooms. I bet they would be a whole lot cheaper than hotels.

With as many people showing up in Florida, it would be great to see more equipment demo's.

Maybe the Cyclone driveable surface cleaner, Maybe one of the paint removal machines like the Stripe Hog or NLB (lots of contractors are asked to remove painted stripes on commercial properties and these are the best machines out there), Maybe have Jerry bring the 40" vacuum surface cleaner and have it demo'd.

Having a tech class like burner troubleshooting is a great idea, maybe some other hot water skid troubleshooting info also.

More fake boobs than I have personally seen in my whole life.....Sunday's Rock there..... Kory have it at a nice place.....A lot of people might make this a family vacation being it is in July.....

I agree about a hotel having a bar/lounge. I like Nola but I will never stay at that host hotel there again. No bar no restaurant plus a long walk to bourbon street. I wish thad would look into a place like the Royal sonesta on bourbon street.

I've stayed at the Royal Sonesta a couple times on Bourbon Street, got a Bourbon Street balcony, very awesome nice place but pricey. Its $200-$300+ a night and if you want a balcony on Bourbon its close to or over $400 a night. Worth it I think, but pricey for a RT

Its nice Jeff......I stayed there for a convention a couple of yrs ago. Bill was comp'd by the college.

It's Korys event jeff, he can actually do what he wants. Nce is primarily built on Dist support. Dist have off set cost for the events to work.

Jeff, I'm sure kory appreciates the input from all here.

Food at the Uamcc got out of hand, 18,000. Kory doesn't want to over or under sell the event. Each day going by will reduce the revenue of this event.

Phx will happen, hotel and dates are set. Nce west and Nce east will move forward. We will have two shows a year minimum.

Kory is a great host, he knows his stuff. This show in Florida should top all past events.

Ron, I know Kory knows what he's doing and definitely an awesome host Ron, you too Ron.

If you rather not have me give input thats fine Ron:ignore:,

Ron, just trying to answer the question that was asked. Sorry Kory, didnt me to start nothing

Ron, I didnt know Kory was doing food too. Ron, I loved that Italian place we all ate at in Tampa, the one where Larry got the free cheese cake :love:LOL

$18,000 definitely to much for any contractor event for sure, Ron:eek:k:

Go NCE. :thumbup2:

This event will be on July 28 & 29 in the Tampa Area. The location is being finalized and I will keep you posted and start a new thread when the details are worked out. I am looking at a lot of content and possibly some certification classes. If I can get the target location rapped up there will be a onsite roof cleaning demo, Paver sealing demo, possible hood cleaning demo, graffiti removal demo, indoor tile and breezeway cleaning demos, and much more.
