Profitable cleaning systems for flatwork, and more.

So with all this talk of diesel, how come there is no diesel option for a vac? I am not in the market at the moment for reclaim, but I certainly don't want something with spark plugs when nothing else in my truck uses them.

Just a thought, if you need some small diesel engine ideas and or experience send me a pm.

With the right diesel engine you could run a pressure pump, a blower and a generator for the burner and vac sump pump. But why stop there, you could even run lights for those low lit cleaning jobs. I can see where one engine could have its advantages. And before someone starts talking about what hap pends if it goes down, Diesel = Reliability.

The longer I am in this business I always see the same thing happen. Shi% happens, sure having everything ran off of one engine would be great and probably reliable but the one time it does go down your going to be in trouble. Finding someone to work on diesel small engines is tough, and parts are extremely expensive. You cannot go purchase a new fuel pump for a kubota or Lombardi at the parts store like you can a briggs. I have different things go down all the time and my luck it would put us out of work for days or weeks waiting on parts

I have had some small engine diesels in the past and was not too pleased with them. Parts were hard to get and when they went down it took weeks for them to get repaired. Because of this I switched back to gas engines on my equipment. That being said if I was to build a large machine for myself the 35 and 65 hp Kubota diesels were nice I would use them.

running hydraulic pumps off te system is HIGHly inefficient, and another system to babysit.
that will never be a good idea.. for long-term-low-cost.

I'm building a Kohler(Lombardini) version PressureWasher for the military currently.
it's an air-cooled 4@ 3500 hot portable.
..and I like the sound of a beefy 20 amp charging system for the 12v heater.
I have used a few Lombardini's in the past, with only a couple issues,
and since Kohler is revamping the entire line, I'm giving them a chance on this..
I'll keep you posted.

The small (10hp) and medium-size (24 to 35hp) Yanmars have been flawless for me, all the customers love them.
Isuzu has too ..and they are the QUIETest !
I have a dozen Vanguard 3cyl diesels out there over the past 3 years,
all flawless.

About the "all-in-one" systems..
We do quotes all the time, and ultimately nobody buys 'em, for the "what-if"..
Separate engine systems less poptential downtime,
and are also more adjustable..
We even recommend the generator be separate,
so you can have completely adjustable pump, and adjustable vacuum..
especially in otherwise quiet neighborhoods (at 3AM). Eh?

We make ALL components available in Diesel engine versions..
how big you want !??
we start at 10hp diesel (equivalent to 14 gsoline hp)
and so far, we have lit sheets on up to 35hp..
That'll run 2 of our 40" Vacuuming mowers at up to 200ft in opposite directions !

Scott..
I like your attitude. :)
we will NEVER waste your time.

by the way..
we test these by putting a test-cap over the suction manifold
with a 1" hole for restriction.. it doesn't even lug the engine..
this baby is STRONG.
Sounds exactly like a Yanmar..
no louder than a 13p Honda.

Just wondering if you had any calls Jerry for making tools for cleaning the corners or edges where the surface cleaner cannot reach, like the last 1" to 2" to the wall?

Not sure if there is a demand for it but it sure would be nice to have when doing a lot of interior floor and don't want to use the wand and get things wet that need to stay dry.

High Pressure spray "CornerTool" that works.

I've been asked 3 times in the past month for one..
A CornerTool (that works), will be made soon.
Maybe I can have one done for the Bootcamp I'll be doing in San Diego in April.
Ooops .. I've let the cat out of the bag ..
.. another Sirocco Wash Water Control Bootcamp in April..
.. .. .. I'll post it with details shortly. :)

Great info jerry thank you for putting it out for us to learn and expand our knowledge.
