Portable foamer...

So how hard is it to really turn a soda canister into a foamer? I've been researching building one but have found most of the information to have been removed? This seams to be a huge secret in the industry for some reason. I know there are many different types to buy from multiple different vendors, but they all have their own draw backs. Some require a PW, some come with a short hose, etc... a custom portable could solve a lot of problems with so many different applications.

Anyone interested in contributing? Pushing soap from a can into a tube is simple, I'm having problems with a type of chamber to generate the foam and pushing that through a hose.

There are lots of Guys who have the plans. Keep this thread alive and your email posted. Someone will send them I'm sure

What are some of the better brands and vendors?
That would depend on if you want to down stream, use an air compressor or just a garden hose.

Thanks for the encouragement Ron

Evirospec has Lafferty and they also have a cannister (cannon). Sunbrite may have them also. I would love to have one. But. The one's that I see require a hose leading to a bucket like an x-jet does. I don't like to drag buckets around.
I think distributors could sell more if we were better educated on how they operate.

Enirospec sells a Lafferty DS Foamer. Lafferty also has a new cart mounted Foamer with a 50ft house all for about $1800.00.

Who has the foamer plans?

Im thinking compressed air. Im trying to find additional info on the foam it 5. The web site is limited.

:kiss:I would pass on foamer-5. Everyone has plans to make big money. Me Too
Foamer-5 is a great concept but at WAY too high of a price! I'd like to make big money too, but at cleaning not at being a manufacturer.

Do you have one?
No Andy, don't have one yet, but at $35 I'm thinking of buying one just to see if it works.

And thanks for the offer, but I'll be in Mobile next week.

I'm not knocking the foamer 5 but I have seen way too many foamer products out there and I just don't feed into allot of it.
I'm sold on the whole foam concept with saving chem and having extended dwell time. It just seems like an elusive dream... Super Doug is supposed to foam up good but I haven't had much luck getting it to yet, dawn is supposed to also, but i haven't gotten it to either. I've gotten a sample of some Alkafoam to test but I'd like to save it until I can figure out how to actually put a foamer together that will work. So far just allot of wet suds.

how do you get from suds to foam?
