exhaust/hood cleaning industry school/certification

Did u not sleep again?
Russ, with all due respect to you and whoever reads this board, all the schools / certifications are a joke.

Some of the schools might teach you well, but are they really allowed to certify you? NO, they can legally give you a cert of completion but not give you certifying credentials.

Then there is a org that can give certifying credentials but the enforcement of their standards is atrocious. intentional or not.

Then you have franchise's that say they certify when in all reaity they are giving you a business class on how to use their business model and some basic kec and you are on your own.

I could go on, there are others that know a lot more than I do about all this. But they are smart and don't say much in public. I have only had 1 entity ask me for certification. When I explained all the bs involved, they were more than happy with my portfolio.

The kec industry as a whole is in a major conflux with no clear direction and no one at the helm.
