Hi all,

I am new to this web site and new to the pressure washing industry. Have been working my but off to learn more about this business to become successfull. Still learning everyday and wondering if anyone knows were I can go to attend a class or weekend course close to home of seattle Wa. Looking to expand business in roof cleaning but stugling to find out about in's and out's of this. I have read about a lot of people doing it wrong. Also what the heck are people using to be safe on a roof. done some reasearch on this and there is not a lot on the market. Have read about products that are on the market that allow you to clean from the ground or gutter line? Anyway Started last June. Have had about a half a dozen job ranging from driveways, sidewalks to gutter cleaning and roof cleaning. Bought a 13hp Honday GSX 4000psi 4GPM pressure washer with chem injector. 100ft of non marking hose. Looking to expand on equipment this year. Looking to buy a 24ft extension pressure wand, and add some of the industry basics that I could not afford last year like a 24" flat surface cleaner. If you have any pointers on special eqiupment I should have please do tell.

Thanks to all

Happy cleaning

Ryan

Well from what everyone told me that surface cleaner might be a bit to big for your machine. I've heard that 4 inches per every GPM is about standard.

2 GPM per nozzle is a bit more accurate. A 4 GPM machine will run a 21" surface cleaner with a 2 arm bar beautifully. The 24" is a 2 arm bar but usually works best with a 5 GPM or better.

And welcome to the forum Ryan! :)
