It's not bragging it is just where I'm currently at. They are companies that make millions of dollars a day. So of course to some of you that is small, haven't reached my year mark. Also $1400 (net) a day is more than that $100k would make me in the bank. But I can't complain

You just don't understand, you are whoring yourself out at those rates, you can have low rates and work on bulk, I know the model, but double your price and its still a low price DO YOU GET IT?? NO ONE that takes business seriously does house washes for $50.00 NO ONE!!!! I also know you are loosing some customers at those low $50 prices. one man and machine makes me at very least $350 a day at least, but usually $500 and up to and over $800 a day and thats at BULK pricing rates

You mentioned you will be coming our way some day, come on. First I dont do houses because most around here will only pay $125-$175 for 1800sq ft and 2nd my customers would never hire you

How long have you been in business pressure washing, not lawn care? Listen to what we are all saying, most know what we are talking about. $50 you are making about $10 a house after gas, payroll, insurance etc, if you are making that. WHY?

Mike V. my man so disappointed in you, I did not want to put your business out there. I'm truly disappointed in you, thought you where a better man.

Actually you did ask me about outsourcing I told you I had no problems with that send me what ever you have don't think you have that much. You will never see me get upset about someone offering me money, why wouldn't I if you are so big a doing so much. I think your price is around $125, so you make $75 with out moving your equipment or like you said during our conversation having them work on something else.

Also I think you called me upset don't know why it is just the nature of the beast.

We did have a pretty heated conversation, you told me my phone would be off I told you I would be buying your equipment. My phone is still on, (actually someone answers it you Mike V. is still answering yours?) but I did buy some of your equipment. I know you did not want it you where updating your fleet all the normal stuff. Not that I wanted your equipment I just wanted to see how bad you where hurting. From my guess it was pretty bad, I would have never sold you one of my trailers after our conversation even if I was hungry. This is just my personal observation, I figured a man like you had pride so if you sold me the trailer you must have been desperate. I have been wrong before, maybe you don't have pride ;) maybe if I was under your pressure I would act different. But for a grown man to lie says a lot about you I want you to think about the lies you just told.

Send me the work I will gladly do it why not. I know all money isn't good but for me it's a win win situation. Also I will use one of the trucks with no logo's. So for you its a win win situation right?
This is too Funny. Mr. Welker said it best, Brian is a class act with an impressive operation, Matthew at Coastal First Impressions and Bradley at Reflections are both friendly competitors who I respect as well.

I first heard of Chatham Property Maintenance when I saw an add on craigslist, I called him and asked him if I could outsource all my business to him , charge my prices and pay him the $50. He did not find this funny, but at the end of the day, he believes his pricing will work and if that works for him....great.
Like Brian said...I don't think anyone is too worried.

I placed an ad on CL trying to get rid of one of my older Trailers, Chatham bought it and I hope it makes him lots of money.

I really couldn't follow most of the comments on here but it sounds like we are all going to be out of business soon.

I think one of the most important things is the ability to sell, the ability to speak intelligently and the ability to convey a sense of comfort to a potential customer.

Matthew.....don't get too excited, the landscape maintenance business has blown up, but I am still running 3 pw trailers 6 days a week and have two sitting idle waiting for the summer months when we start the big complexes.

Savannah and our surrounding areas are a decent size, AAPC has grown every year for the past 12 years, we have paid cash or traded for every truck or piece of equipment we run (lawn or pw) and will continue to operate in that manner. I do not believe in loans for anything except a house. As many of you know, the PW and LC are side businesses for me, I use to build motorcycles as a hobby, now I raise kids and play with my businesses. I was somewhat bored with the PW, kinda maxed it out so I started the lawn care side. which is where my primary focus has been for the last two years. Not having to rely on these businesses for stabiliy, allows me to try new things, focus on specific areas of interest within the two businesses, think outside the box, not focus on the daily operational aspects of the "job" but rather the bigger picture.

Back to the topic at hand.....while I encourage everyone to get prices up, at the end of the day, the customer goes with the company they feel comfortable with, they feel safe with, the one that they think will be there next year to take care of them again.

I can honestly say that I have not lost a single wink of sleep over anyone in the PW industry, there is more business out there than any one of us can handle and it does not matter how much equipment you have or if you are a one man operation or how low or how high your prices are, it is the ability to convey a coherent message to the customer and sell them on you.

Of course I answer my phone, I'm well spoken, articulate and people trust me.

If you recall, I was making fun of you when I asked about outsourcing, I told you that your prices were "STUPID", that is when you got upset. I understand that, no one likes to be told they are stupid, or their pricing is stupid. I actually apologized for calling you stupid and told you that I hope your business model works well for you.

The unfortunate truth is that you are not going to put anyone out of business but I like the fact that you think that, you have to think like that to succeed.

Your reasoning and logic in everything that you have posted here and your approach to your business make me glad you are in my market.

I have some other old equipment you can look at if you are interested. We have to replace stuff once it gets to a certain point of disrepair, as you know, All American Pressure Cleaning has been serving Savannah for over 12 years and I while I appreciate your gusto, I don't think you can fully comprehend what stability is and what it means in the community. Savannah is a unique place, with lots of Southern Tradition and Pride, there is a place for everyone.

Good luck to you, I wish you well.

Well Mike I have never called any of my competition, lets just say I will call you a puppet and me the puppet master. Folks do you remember mike selling equipment on this website? So did he just tell us he was selling some equipment that could not be repaired. Bad move Mike V. know that goes against your whole statement of trust. Have a good year and always don't let your frustrations show. Also I guess you just look on craigslist and call every person that you think will be out of business in a few months. Your just confirmed that you are a "stupid lier".

This is clearly going no where.

Once again you show your level of intelligence and understanding of the English language. As we all see, you can not spell, write or speak properly but I would assume that you would at least be able to read.

Please go back and read what I wrote again, I know it is confusing......use a dictionary to look up the words you do not understand.

Good with your business.

Ok guys, lets just end it here please.

Mr Chatham, Mike in my oponion made an attempt to end this respectfully that would have benifitted them both of you.

You chose to continue the personal attacks.

So I am closing the thread until you cool down a bit.

No more personal attacks please guys, lets move on.

WTF are you kidding. Talk to real pressure washing companies and find out the right rates. you are charging a 1/2 of what even most hacks charge
Please rethink what you are doing or get out of the PW business. You can't be making crap on washing

Don't go easy on Guy Jeff
