Boat cleaning-Marine pressure washing

I got a call the other day about cleaning a boat. Anyone know what will take this stuff off? It's painted aluminium. I figured some regular truck wash soap but it has some stuff on the bottom. They tried to scrap it off with a ice scrapper. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

my friend owns a boat cleaning business
HE uses a sruby pad from a tile cleaner machine. The big ones that you can rent at homedepo
He puts on a pad and sands it off.
To get the white on the side boat Ocix Acid.

Now are they looking at re painting the bottom if so they might want to soda blast it

blasting is the way to go , it looks like it needs to be repainted

I agree, if it is barnacles I would presoak with an acid to help break them down and neutralize with a soap (2 step) then use a turbo nozzle to remove them from the surface.

I'm curious, all great precedures.

Have you guys actually ever done a Boat?

I personally have never done one this bad, my own but I did just blast it because i didnt think I could screw the fiberglass up. Its worked great

Ron on fiberglass boats you can damage the gel coat with too much pressure. Especially on newer boats.

the bottom paint is peeling , You guys are wasting your time soda blasting fastest way and will give your a clean surface to repaint
