MCES Water Treatment Video

What happens to the waste water once you finish washing those dishes, flush that toilet, or more importantly, dump you reclaim water? This video was put together by the Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (Minnesota) to help us understand the efforts that they go thru to clean the waste water we send back to them. The MCES are nationally recognized for the excellent work they do and have won numerous awards for their efforts. Clean water is extremely important to Minnesotans because we are known for our 10,000 lakes and outdoor activities. I think you will enjoy this and who knows, maybe even learn a few things!

It is a little long at 14 minutes but it is well put together and very educational. Grab a cup of coffee, kick back and enjoy the show! It was an eye opener for me to see how caring for the environment wasn't really a focus 70-80 years ago and how polluted the Mississippi got because of it.
