I still support the PWNA- even if they make mistakes.

I asked them on monday march 28 2011 not to release this BMP to the industry.

Mike Hilborn said he would send it to me to read and never did.

I spoke with him on wed after the BOD meeting and he explained he was going to release it anyway.

I had talked with a few BOD members but they would not listen.

The PWNA has a history of Public relations problems. I told them this would be the reaction at this time.

Mikes not a Bad guy, he is just the Excutive director and really is not responsible for this.

Everyone wants to complain about this BMP release write Mike and the rest of the BOD.

I'm going to continue to suport them even if they are blind and can't see this BPM is not going to fly.

Robert has been a leader in the industry and ICON. With all my respect Robert has been ill for the past three years fighting problems with his health. So I know he is out of touch with whats really happening in the environment.

I don't fault Robert his life has been this fight. The good he has done in the industry is not measurable.

The reality is these BMP are the fort-worth BMP that Robert's been trying to sell for ten years.

Here's the problem, sanitary discharge is not responsible in some cities. The cities use methods that only except normal sanitary waste.

We also never talk in this BMP about not violating the law. The minimum standards say we can use diversion and no off property discharge as a safer and more responsible method.

I asked Robert on the PWNA BOD call did district 6 say Ft Worth Texas BMP are illegal? Robert's reply it was Houston divisions and it was a matter of there opinion. The 4 largest cities opinion with now the worst laws on the books ageist contractors. I'm sorry it matters!!!!

The City of Ft Worths water authority budget has run from 1 million 5 years ago to over 50 million. Cities are not traveling to Ft worth to model this program.

Robert in the times you saved contractors working, this BMP is not contractor friendly. :smile-us-down:

PWNA, you will I guess have 55 guys in your org next year. Water reclaim certification will be done by the water authorities. Certifications that people know how and why laws are in place will be more valuable training.

There are better practices, the people in the equipment sales department do not want to hear it because they want to sell equipment. These BMP's will reduce sales also.

The PWNA blog says they are seeking Ikeca, Ceta, IWCA and other orgs to help them with this issue in Houston. ( Thats a Great IDEA!!) I guess it also sounds familiar. :secret:

This is actually funny because I was the one who invited Robert to Houston, I don't believe and could be wrong Robert had not been to Houston for a long time. I'm also waiting for the video to go up on on www.dcs1.com

Houston PWNA mess, quinett county PWNA mess, others cities have reverted past BMP submitted by the PWNA.

If the PWNA wants to repeat history be my guest. Some of these guys are riled up over this, I'm not because I'm certain no ones going to use these. If they do they will hurt the industry again giving the PWNA a Black Eye. Shortly after sales are made and contractors are exterminated the city will change. Or they will never enforce them to begin with, thus making more confusion.

These are not my opinions but my experiences.

GA contractors shut down after a PWNA nightmare, today some have purchased expensive machines only to have the city fail them and not enforce anything.

I have a program that requires responsibility from small business owners. City ordinance that we are protectors of the environment when it comes to exterior cleaning needs. Require business to clean with professional contractors responsibly. Similar to policing of trash and debris control ordinance. Lets try a fresh approach and get the manufactures behind a program like this.

The cosmetic aspect is old, many things started by the DELCO are old. Flat work is one of pet peeves, I clean sidewalks. I'm and exterior restoration specialist. Anyway, we really need to change.

I'm a health, safety and environmental cleaner. I remove reduce pollution from real-estate owners properties reducing there liability and help keep them compliant to the CWA. As a benefit I also reduce emission and save water by using my company instead of conventional methods. I do all of this for the children.

I'm a PWNA guy, I will always be a PWNA contractor. When I joined this time I said I would be on till the day I'm retired from this industry. Or thrown out:shocked2:

Its easy to quit, I have never been that guy. PWNA members, if you do not like the way things are volunteer when Mike calls you. Get involved, voice your thoughts to the BOD.

Mike just a guy who volunteers for the BOD. He's human and makes mistake like anyone of us have. He will never know he has made a mistake until he really researches this. All the BOD should have done there home work. I do not think they understand that each and every BOD member that VOTED yes should be compliant with this with in a few months. Practice what you preach, I will pop in on a couple of them for interviews to see how this program is going in there community.

Until next time!!!!
