This is the baddest protable vac I have ever seen.In my head I have been thinking about a gas powered vac like this used with a wet side/seperator drum for a while. Not being really sure what type of blower would be needed I searched google for "gas powered wet vac" and this is one of the results.
It produces a lot of cfm's over a pretty wide range so in theory you could adjust vac to the length of vac hose you need.

I have also been wonder about one of the walk behind leaf blowers with a 18hp motor as a base for a recovery system.

I have looked at that site as well on the past however the lift seems like the weak point for these systems.

The leaf blowers move a lot of air but have no vacuum or lift like Chris said. (yes I tried) I have a real nice air mover now works great on dry leaves but nothing wet or heavy.

What does this system cost?

It can be made to be used but limited.

There are ways to make this work with additional parts, just depends on how much this cost initially.

Tony, it doesn't exist.

The questioned vacuum was designed for dry pick-up..
that's what CFMs are for.. turbulence.
Lift gets heavy-stuff through long hoses.
That vac might be good for vacuuming debris, but a "BillyGoat" would be cheaper. :)
