Powdered Bleach Review Roof Cleaning Products

AC
I won't muck up your apology post with talk about the bleach wash, but I will say it here. Instead of personal testing and testing by a pro staff you and Delux need to put the product in contractors hands for real world testing.
I think we have all tried HC at one time to find the negatives were far greater than the positives and feel like this product is going to have a huge up hill battle to prove it's worth messing with from a contractors stand point.

Thanks Scott,

When we say pro staff we mean hand picked contractors that have been trained how to use the product and will participate in a study and give feedback to Delux so that the issues can be resolved before any further product launch.

Thanks,

AC

AC, this wasnt the same stuff you had been trying? How long have you used this stuff? I've heard you say you have cleaned 50k roofs or something? Just not with this stuff right? I asked you on this board if there was going to be any issues with the residue and you didn't answer me. You said ask Delco. I took that as a yes. Let me ask, what was diffrent about this product, then what you tried before?? You said it was an issue with the flake of the CH? Can you be more specific?

Hey Y'all,

I have posted this apology on my website. Please let everyone know it is there. http://softwashsystems.com/powdered bleach statment 4-12-11.htm

Thanks,

AC

A.C. as the "contractor" in Houston let me be the first to say "Apology Accepted." Everything worked out great here, customer called and is EXTREMELY pleased with his Decra Roof Cleaning. If I can assist you and DELUX in any way in in the testing, research, etc, whatever you need, please feel free to let me know.

Ron,

I operated two cleaning companies one residential and the other commercial for nearly 20 years. In that 20 years I was responsible for nearly 28 million dollars in completed sales. All of this business was cleaned by in large with liquid bleach. Summer of 2010 DOT showed up on my door step and through a compliance review we received a $6,000.00 fine for transporting more than 119 gallons of SH without a CDL and a Haz Mat endorsement. That is when I had to dig into the books and research to find another product for cleaning. My commercial trucks carried 500 gallon SH tanks and my residential had 200 gallon tanks, which put me way over on the 119 gallon rule.

I had used CH in the 90's and it worked good. In Florida SH was so widely available that we were drawn to go that way. But if you rate the top 10 roof cleaning bleaching compounds SH would be number one and CH number two.

Hope this helps,

AC

I'm sorry but I don't have the time to read all eight pages here, nor do i have the time to post. So this Is quick and sweet!

Dulex and AC are honest and and ethical people. They have all the support from us.

I have got to run to bid jobs!
Sorry I don't have the time to post or read the point the fingure crap. I'm out of grade school at this point in my life.

Tony thats funny buddy, you say you dont have time for crap yet you post this in a smart azz tone and call people names by saying their legitimate concerns are grade school crap? Ok whatever!

Just sayin?
I'm not out the door yet. It's just all to childish for me with the slams.

I would say if these are the same of identical who would really know unless that person told us?

I see that these are similar

Heres the MSDS for two separate products:

PROtech Super Shock MSDS

Delux Bleach Wash MSDS

Even if their "special" blend of chemicals was off,..I would still think the MSDS would have been correct. So,..it is still just pool shock it would seem.

You guys can decide if the mix was a mistake or not.

Jeff
