pics of Jon's rig

Ok here are some pictures of my rig, it is not finished but with me things are never finished.

What the long tank is for reclaimed/reuse water. On top of this tank will be another like it but a little shorter for the vacuboom hoses and pick up tubes. Red hose showing is by-pass, once I get the other tank installed I will cut a hole for pvc tube and feed one hose though it, right now I have two coupled together.

Underneath the trailer between the axles is a 35 gallon chemical tank, I feed water to it from the main tank by way of ball valve, adding chemical and getting chemicals out with either upstream/downstream or Shur-flo pump from same opening.

Green garden hose (3/4) is hiding 80 feet of 3/4 red commercial hose.

I suppose I could say more and take more pictures so if you want to see or know something just ask and I will reply by email or here.

How chemicals get added and how I draw them out.

Notice valve for water feed to tank.

Also custom muffler for generator with spark arrestor and resonator. Muffler was extremely loud before I modified it.

another yet showing backflow and water meter for fire hydrant, yes I have permit for it.

If you look closely you will see by-pass around water meter when not drawing from hydrant. Surely not about to run up a bill with customers water!

Jon,
Looking good!! Glad to see your nearing completion. Will have to meet up soon, so I can get the real deal in person.

JON,

LOOKS LIKE YOUR LOADED FOR BEAR! LOL...............

YOUR TRAILER IS JUST LIKE MINE!

IF YOU CAN SHOW US SOME ON THE JOB SITE PITCHERS.

WHAT IS YOUR WATER RECOVERY RATE % THAT IS?

IF YOUR WORKING OR NOT HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND !;)

They learn so quick. It makes me so proud. (sniff)

Scott:D

Nice setup Luckyboy, looks good, took some sleepless nights huh.Hell that thing would make anybody hear better but did I hear ya say underneath between the axles,if ya lived here I'd laugh my ass off but can see where you may get by with it out there, the rig looks great.

Just a thought for the hoe's reels,a T 2 inch dropdown pole that would swi'vle and they wouldn't be in the way when backing up,,,,,I know I know but was just a thought and you don't backup,*LOL*.,also got tickled bout the muffer, hehe.

Now a newbee can use your rig againest ya,new truck even but you'll look like a pro for sure, just be glad your not pulling it with a bowtie, the newbee would have a hayday ifen ya did, they do dat ya know....I'm proud for ya,looks great even counting the truck.

Bigboy I forgot to mention the hose reels do swivel, they are on axles from on old trailer, I have a pin that holds then straight till I get to job, then I remove the pin and pesto SWIVEL HOSE REELS.

I am not hiding the chemical tank from eyes but have it there as a space saver on top. Also it puts weight right smack in the center between the axles.

Mellow they claim 100% recovering but I am not finding that to be true, I would say 80% is more in line with what I am able to reclaim. What they don't say is you have evaperation and seepage around the pickup tubes.

Jon

PS: Bring on the newbie, I would gladly show him how to do things but at one of his accounts and NO I would not take it from him.

Bowtie, Ford, Dodge or otherwise the main thing being GVW of tow vehicle and towed.

Hey a truck is just another tool to get to the job, right?

Yeah yeah stop your smirking Bigboy I can hear you hollaring all the ways out West here.

I'd say dat pretty good hearing from here,*LOL*.

Will like I said sleepest nights, now who would thought about a spen'around axle, surely not a ragman.

As for me to stop laughing would ya care to tell me awittle about that underneath tank,no not wanting to steal ya ideal.I know it doesn't take a ever big tank to make 35 gal.,is it metal or plastic, how high is it from the ground when loaded and why 35 gal..Wouldn't a 15,10 or even a 5 gal. tank do ya for one nights cleaning, huh, guess depends on how ya mix ya chemicals huh.

NO,not laughing at ya rig,I think it goods great man,I love the big wheel too.Was just wondering if alot of guys out there run underneath tanks on a trailer rig is all, they would get hung up here, high centered in places.

John thanks as you can see I like gadgets!

I store it at a small private secure rv lot, I think only 25 spots, couple of old cars, a trailer or two and rest RVs.

Two homes on a dead end street with the rest industrial and no one bothers a thing.

Bigboy would love to post all 3 pictures of the tank at one time but here they are. I put it under there for one reason, space, not to hide it or anything and as you can see in one pict. there is a drain if I need to empty it.

last pic of chemical tank under axle.

This pic. shows how little it is below the axle, not enough to hit anything nor for me to worry about it.
