Pavers & BT200

JL Pressure Washing
This is an ocean front property that we clean the pavers once a year. Never was real happy with the finished product before. There's heavy oil stains and usually it gets some of it up but not enough. Buses and cars park and leak oil all the time.
This year I tried BT200 and it really worked great. I was actually amazed and so was the General Manager & Property Manager.

I would say it was 99% better than we ever got it before.

The pictures arent the greatest quality and don't do justice to how it really looked but it actually took up probably 98% of the oil, didnt leave hardly any shadows at all. Worked great on the pavers and so so on concrete

The property loved it

We Cleaned a pavered driveway yesterday for a lady. They never tightened the drain plug at the dealership and she had oil on her pavers. I tried Dougs product for the first time and guess what......She no longer has oil stains. I gotta say, so far this is the best product I have seen yet for removing oil stains. I Love it!!!

Jeff, just curious, did you use hot water in the past when cleaning the pavers?

Did you use hot water this time with the BT200?

Thanks.

Yes both ways I have used hot water. Before I would use a degreaser and it would get off the topical stuff but not the deep down oil. BT I have had good luck with twice now with pavers, not so lucky on smooth concrete.
This stuff really pulled the oil out of the pavers real well

Thanks for the info on cleaning oil stains on concrete pavers Jeff.

How did you mix the Bt200 How many oz per gallaon of water?

We used more than what was recomended. I used about 1/4 gallon in 3-4 gallons of water and Xjetted it, it went a long way and then quick aggitation with a stiff bristle brush/broom. We aslo applied this the nigh before. Its not a product you can just apply and start washing. But for the results on pavers it was worth taking the nigh before to apply it

Looks great! Did you vacuum and recover the residue or was just rinsing sufficuent with no lingering residue accumulating at lower grade?

Another good thread revival, thanks for the new info.

I saw it worked so so on concrete for OP. Does anyone have different results, or a products they like better on concrete?
