Georgia Round Table

If this post needs to be moved, feel free!

Just wanted to talk about the Georgia RT on Saturday. 42 contractors came by to participate, with many of them bringing spouses and kids from as far away as Texas and Hew Hampshire. This was like a family picnic and "customer appreciation day" all rolled into the chance to network and talk business and pick up some new ideas.

During the day we had a mix of Round Table sessions, product demos, games and food.

We started around 10 AM with demos of X-Jets, stencils, surface cleaners, foamers, truck washing, the Deckster, and wood cleaning and sealing.

The first RT sessions started at noon and lasted about an hour, followed by a break for burgers and dogs cooked on the grill.

While the grown-ups were talking business in the Round Table, the kids got cotton candy and snow-cones, got to blow bubbles, throw water balloons, and jump in the jump-house (to burn off all that energy). Kids and parents got reunited around the lunch tables.

After lunch we went back into RT sessions, followed an hour later by adult games and contests.

We passed an orange from chin to chin (no hands). We aren't publishing most of the pictures from that game (to protect the innocent). We also tossed water balloons. Finally, our beloved Redneck Horseshoes.

We awarded the trophy for Redneck Horseshoes at the end of the day and then handed out the prizes to game winners. Prizes for the grown-ups included a color tv, a gas barbecue, and Sun Brite Supply gift certificates.

This was our eighth annual RT, a record we intend to hang on to. We look at this day as our chance to give back to our customers in ways that are fun - but also present the chance to learn more about running their businesses better. To those who came, thank you. We enjoyed havin' you stop by. If you missed it, you missed your free "company picnic". There's always next year, so make your plans!Connecting.jpgGrill Work.jpgRT.jpgFun.jpgWatching demos.jpgTruck Washing.jpg

A few more pics

BTW, we missed you Ron. Rumor around here is that you were among those fantastic Navy Seals that were so busy over the weekend. If so, we understand why you couldn't be here. You would have had a terrific time!

One of the pics above looks like people are lining up for the Porta-Jon. Bad camera angle, but funny to look at.

The second pic here is passing an orange. This was the only G-rated picture my camera got. Apparently I prefer the more adult sort of photo.
