Lets Talk Stencils

Well that don't look very good, AC.

We use a small 10-40 tip now and apply lighter coats. That was the first one done with new stencil. We do the coroplast ones so they are easy to carry up on a roof. Here is a pic of that same sidewalk today (sidewalk stenciled back first week August 2010) Little oak stamen stain on it but you can see it is excellent advertising for how long chemical cleaning lasts.

Just commercial with mostly positive results. On dumpster pads good results. I think residential it may piss off owners.

Rick,

For commercial and dumpster pads, do you stencil properties (that aren't customers) without getting permission? I just received my stencil and I'm interested in using it effectively without getting in trouble or pissing people off.

I can understand doing it in a dumpster without permission, but on commercial areas it seems like people would get angry that you are advertising on their property...maybe I'm wrong.

What commercial properties do you use it on? Shopping centers, restaurants, gas stations?

Thanks

Having ours made right now at a local fab shop i know that has a water jet table.
Only costing me 65.00 and unlike the ones from say Sunbright, this one will actually have out company logo
instead of the ugly plain block letters you get on just a regular one. will post pics soon as we get it back from the shop.

Also with it being football season, and being in Alabama, ppl here are buying EVERYTHING with the Alabama or Auburn football
logo's. I may have one of each done just for kicks & giggles.

Almost 200 bucks for cheesy block letters.
or 65.00 for our logo. & we get to support a local shop.
This is a winner winner chicken dinner. ;-)
