Roof Cleaning At Night

I was asked to provide an estimate for cleaning a tile roof for a small retail center that is open 7 days a week. Tile must be cleaned at night between 10 pm and 6 am. The parking lot lights illuminate the parking lot pretty good but don't do much for lighting the roof. I assume that I could put some lights on the lift and spray a stronger solution to work better without the warm sun's help. Anybody ever do any night-time roof spraying? Thanks for any advice!
 
I haven't but I do believe that Nick (The Cleaner) has done some Walgreen Pharmacy Roofs at night.
 
I've done a few shopping center roofs at night... One of them was a monster tile roof in Naples, had never been done before and it was black! Just like you say, stronger mix and a light on the lift platform. You may want to allow some extra time for job completion if you are not convinced about your spray coverage... Check it out next day during day light.
 
We have done it. It was 50 000 sq ft tile roof. We did it in sections in a week. Be extremely careful with any kitchen exhausts. The grease has spread around the chimney and once you wet it, it gets super slippery.
Usually tile roof shopping centers have gutters all around which may go to landscaping plants or shrubs around the building. Check them out first and guide the gutter spouts away from the plants. Some lights are set to turn off after 2am. Make sure that does not happen to you, hallo lights will not help you much unless you have a heavy duty light tower.

Thanks guys! I walked the property today and am putting together an estimate this week. No gutters as everything will fall on to the asphalt. Will post pics if I get it.
 
I was awarded the job and start Friday night. Bought 1,000 watts of lights today to attach to the boom lift. Looking forward to NOT working in the hot sun all day as we recently finished up a 225,000 s.f. roof tile job for a condo complex in Palm Coast. Thanks to Steven Button for the phone call and advice. Will post pictures of this project next week.
 
It is Ron. We cleaned many roofs at night. Even some shingle manufacturer warranty claims now and then.
