My water is electrically charged!

Shouldn't be the battery, machine is only 4 months old and nothing has been touched. After running for another hour it stopped all the sudden. Don't know. We'll see if it happens Sunday when I use it again.

So your taking into account that no one at the factory has a bad day:) lol

Hope you figure it out.

We've had a similar problem. the tip of our wand would arc on any grounded metal. If you touched any metal connections on the hoses you got a good current. For us, our burner wasn't grounding at one point, and at another time it was merely grime build up around the outlet on the generator that was creating a curcuit to the pw frame to the hose, and grounded by us or any conductor touched by the pressure tip.
It might help to check anything that creates electricity (generator, battery recharge, battery). You may have a funny connection. Play with a voltage meter and see if you can isolate when it's charged (while machine is on w/ or w/o heat, or when everything is off).
Happy Hunting!

The water coming out of my holding tank shocks me. Doesn't matter if it comes out of the gun or out of the dump valve. I know thewater coming into thetank is fine. I checked It.

I just hope your talking about Low voltage pumps and not a burner. The burner could kill you if you get grounded.

No worries about Low voltage, that could just blow some flammables up on your trailer of truck.

The worst shock I ever had was from the transformer on a 110v burner. I was working on the burner using an extension cord. Had it unplugged and disconnected while working on it. A crew-mate walked in and tripped over the cord. He thought he unplugged it, so quickly and politely plugged it in! I created a nice circuit from one hand through my chest and heart to my other hand. It locked me up and I couldn't move or speak, then the breaker at the wall finally tripped. If you've seen the calorie free pepsi ad, let's just say I wish it could have thrown me rather than hold me!

Check all your grounds and make sure they are still good. The unit is looking for a better connection to ground so if you are not careful you will be it! If this is a 110 unit get it checked right away we don't need any stories about the new crispy guy that used to have a pressure washer company.
