2 new sites to help you with your SEO links.

I have opened up 2 new sites that will help with your link building.

Site 1 is a Document sharing site. What you do here is create a PDF article of some sort with links to your site in the article. The easiest way I have found to create this for FREE is with Google Docs. Create the document and then export it as a PDF. You then take this file and upload it to the document sharing site. When you do this the document will appear on the site with links to you. Document sharing sites are highly valued by the search engines these days and a lot of the times can outrank your site for easy keywords.

Site 2 is a microblog site. Microblogs are becoming more and more powerful. In this site you create a short blog post of 1500 characters or less and of course link to your site in the post. An added bonus with this is that if you login using your facebook account, whatever you post here will also post to your facebook wall. If you fave a post on the microblog it will like it on facebook. If you delete a post it will delete it from facebook. Think of this site as Twitter on steroids. Twitter is a microblog that limits the posts to 140 characters.

I bought the second domain because it had expired and that it already has a DMOZ listing. Both of these will help to diversify the types of links you have linking to your sites. Both of these sites are brand new and over the next few months you are going to see a lot of activity on there because of some SEO service companies that will be using them.

I am not trying to make these sites explode like twitter or the others but the content will explode in a very short period of time. Use them for FREE as part of your SEO link building strategy.

You can now connect your Facebook and Twitter to your account on http://sns21.com

Instructions.
Click on Register
Create an account normally
logout
click login
In the lower menu click on facebook
Click on Login with Facebook
Follow the instructions in the window to allow the application on FB
Associate Facebook with the account you created
Logout
Click Login
Lower menu click Twitter
click on login with twitter
Follow the instructions to allow the application to work with twitter
Associate twitter with the account that you created.

Now when ever you post to this site it also posts to twitter and facebook.

Looks like a good plan you have there Pat.

Thanks Chris. This is not just for me. Everyone is free to sign up and use them. There are a few of these sites out there but not nearly enough so I added these 2. I will probably add more in the future as time and funds permit.

Hey, thanks man. This is really great stuff!

You are welcome.

I did a test with one document for a landscaping company and I used the keywords "landscaping city state" and posted one document and then went over to the sns21.com site and added a post there which automatically put it on my twitter and facebook accounts. Just that one article/document moved him from #20 to #12 within a week and the only link to his site was in the document.

To get a heavy train over the mountains they add locomotives to help push. That is exactly what the linking like this will do. Don't just link to your sites and don't always link to the home pages either.

Hey Pat! I am just dumb when it comes to this stuff. I fumbled through setting up a website and managed to get it linked to FB and Twitter but I don't understand the whole SEO other than my site is not anywhere near the top. lol.....any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan

Sorry I had not filled out my signature when I posted.

Think of ranking like a job interview, to get the job you have to convince them that you are the best for the job.

Now for rankings it is not much different but you have to continually tell the search engines that you are the best for a certain keyword phrase. To do this you need links from other sites. This is what is known as a backlink.

I think of Google as a 2 year old with ADD and Alzheimers. Short attention span and forgetful. To overcome this you have to continually create back links. There will be a point where you can stop for a while but later on you will have to start up again because your competitors are building links too.

The key is to get as many links as you can from as many different sources as you can. i.e. different domains.

You can call me if you have any questions. 406-465-9334

Thanks Pat! If you don't mind I will try to get up with you this week?

I'll check this out - thanks for the sites. Nice finding an expired site that is listed in DMOZ (since it's always been nearly impossible to get listed in there).

Hey Cleaning Doc

Thanks for the info. I did set up an account at best digital docs and got an email to verify my adress and received the verification but when i try to upload a doc it tells me I my email address hasn't been verified yet? Does it take some time even tho I got the message that is was verified?

Thanks

Great Point Pat ! Many (Including Me) have made the mistake of just linking to their home page, in a website or blog. We must not neglect our other pages in a website. I spent a considerable amount of time making sure most of the pages in my website have their own incoming links. This deep link structure has allowed me to survive a number of Google Search Updates over the years.
