Contracts

I have just finnished the first part of a very large contract. as a consultant. One of the items that has come up, is the way people do not read contracts. One of my sub contractors have just been hit by the main company, for not dealing with problems that they had signed a contract to deal with I.E payments. When they require payments at each stage. they have to submit a invoice with a standard form, from a commisioner of oaths stateing that they have made all payments to staff and companys they have hired from. How can a person sign these and not make payments. to the staff. this has back fired on them as the staff complained to the main company. and the main company is now makeing the payments. and deducting bvefore next payment:slap:

WOW.....WTF....U lost me after the first period.

Short explanation. Contractor had a contract to perform services. As part of the payment process they had to certify that they paid their employees. They certified at they paid the employees, but did not really pay them. The employees complained to the company they were performing work for, the company is paying the employees directly. It is likely the contractor is not going to earn anything.
And yes, there are contracts that are not performed to perfection

yes the first part paid out $45,000 the wage bill would have been $15,000. he got greedy the next two stages would have paid out $60.000 and $75.000. as i said he should have read the contract.
