Tampa - Post Card Mania

Lol that's what I like about joy she doesn't hold back she speaks her mind.
Oh she back-peddled like a circus clown on a unicycle the next week when she got done with all the e-mails she got from her clients. I saw the post she put up and just shook my head and thought it was a bad idea about 20 seconds into reading it, sure enough next week it was a appoligy.

Here it is; you decide:

Donald Trump’s reality TV series Celebrity Apprentice brazenly sanctions his megalomania (the need to have power over others) and cutthroat business tactics. It disgusts me — yet, I must admit, I keep watching!

The way self-preservation and back-stabbing is applauded on that show is the complete opposite of how I (and I’m sure many of you) approach business. It makes me wonder why he is so successful when he’s such a jerk. It doesn’t seem to make sense, and yet it is prevailing wisdom that acting that way is “just business.”

There have been times in the life of my business where I had to make tough choices to root out exactly what “The Donald” rewards — ruthless office politics and negativity.

What’s the takeaway?

Turn your positive atmosphere into a marketing tactic!

Don’t believe the myth that you need to be “out for yourself” in business to survive. You can achieve success using teamwork and respect just as easily as you can by pitting your employees against each other and seeing who wins.

There will always be haters trying to bring down the culture you’re building in your business. But if you protect it and nurture it, eventually you can use it as a selling point for your business! People may tune in to watch ruthless business, but in actual business they’re looking for the opposite!

We have won customers simply because they liked the culture of PostcardMania and preferred to work with us! Let’s hear potential "presidential candidate" Trump say that!

Best,

I priced them out in the spring and they had very good pricing.I just felt i didnt have any control in were the cards went. They tryed to convice me that they would get in the right hands.I think that program that the post office has might be a bit better for the sender having better control of were they are going.
Hal – spoke with my contacts over at PostcardMania and you can most definitely choose where your cards are being mailed. Much better (and cheaper) than going straight through the USPS. PostcardMania knows the ins and outs of postcard marketing, especially who and where to mail them to. They work with the top list companies and can pull any type of mailing lists you want. If you want to mail to household, commercial properties, etc. they can definitely do that. They may suggest who to mail them to, but in the end it’s up to you. However, I would definitely take their advice on any mailing recommendations since they’ve been doing this for over 13 years.
