PWNA classes?

Dude, there's a school for cleaning right up the road from you in Cowtown.
The Delco folks ( they have a new name now ) have classes.

I might be wrong but isn't crowley just south of Ft Worth. If so, then check them out.

Oh yeah, Then there's Danny Bates as well. He knows lots of stuff too.
Like the name of Delux, that I couldn't remember.

PWNA is an org. If you like that sort of thing.
You should probably make a signature too, Allstar, so everyone in the DFW knows who their new competition is.

I took a wood certification class at the P*na event back in 2004 and was certified in wood restoration........before I had my equipment, before I had my trailer rig, before I had a lot of experience and before I cleaned hardly any wood at all, isn't that cool! hahahahaha

Since you are in Texas, give Doug or Danny a call, they can help you out and sell you some training to get you started out on the right foot with stuff that works in the real world and what equipment and chemicals you will need without selling you stuff you don't need.

Good luck.

I took the House Washing class in Milwaukee this spring and found it invaluable. New teacher now, so not sure if the content has changed.

off topic I know.... Have you heard of "Mystic" in Ia. ?

I have some old old family form there.

Nice sleepy little town.

How's that wood comin along there Chris?

Still the same, probably 4 or 5 calls a year for deck or fence restoration.

I don't do any of that but I will clean up the wood for them to seal or stain but I won't stock or order products due to the low interest here.

People will let their fences and decks literally rot away instead of maintaining them, they all say it is cheaper in the long run.

A lot of people here don't care about the wood fences looking old and gray as most of them do, maybe 1 in 500 or less restore their fences. Not sure how many restore their decks but most I see are in need of maintenance and it is a hard sell.

It just surprises me that you are not slammed with wood down there. That salt air is so rough on everything.
It's really hopping on this side. More wood than washes. My bones are feeling it.

I have a re-cert stamp if you ever need it.

Mystic IA! Ha, the meth capital of the world. I lived in Centerville for 10 years before moving to Ames, so yeah I've heard of mystic.

I had no idea about the meth capitol.
It wasn't that way waaaaaaaaaaaay back when.
Used to be a nice little place to visit.

Has anyone taken these and did you find them helpful?

highly recommend a National Cleaning Expo approved trainer.

Doug Rucker for the Basic starter instruction is one of the best.

Danny Bates is a Good man also, if you wanted to stay close and Danny's willing I wouldn't hesitate on that offer either.

good training like great service comes with a price.

Good luck in your search

PS if you use the PWNA it will depend on the instructor. Some classes are just promos for Hinderliters Powerwash , your paying to hear about products. ( I do not recommend there School)

If your looking at finding good educational training it will depend on the people teaching. Russ Heitman is NCE & PWNA certified and the info Russ delivers is great.

They have a couple good programs and some that just give poor information.

If you can get to Sunbrite Pete Tracy and Nichole sell stuff but also have great Basic and advanced training. Pete might also be doing something at the PWNA.
