iPad users

I just picked up the iPad 2 and want to know what the best apps for business use are. I have qb for desk top and the online version but don't care for the mobile version online using the iPad.
What apps are good for doing estimates in the field? What's the best app to access your pc from the iPad?
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Drop box rocks. You download it on your PC and on your ipad, and you can pull any recent documents used on your ipad up without an internet connection. If you have one, as long as you downloaded a document on your office PC, you can get it on your ipad.
As far as business, that is my principle use. You could probably develop a form to be emailed to your potential customer that you could send from your ipad for estimates.

Keynote for doing presentations.

I customized a Customer Resource Manager that I will be implementing this next year. It will be cloud based and I will be able to go paperless with my customers. I will be able to email my customized quotes and Invoices directly to my customers from my iPad. I have spent close to $1400 this year customizing it, but it should work out great. This way, I'll know everything from past customers just by looking at my CRM.

Kory, do you know if there is much difference in logmein and dropbox. I have dropbox but had never heard of logmein.

Logmein actually let's you control your computer remotely. You can see everything and do everything from your iPad/iPhone that your computer can do and you can control it from there.

Dropbox is just cloud based file storage that syncs with your computer or device that is networked with your cloud based files.

is there any need to have both, dropbox and logmein, Can I use both??

Yes you can, imagine having access to your computer at home anytime .

Cool, got it. thanks. Phone app is 30$??? Wow.

Unless you got the iPad I wouldn't buy it. You also need to be able to have a need to access data from your own network.

For the estimate form, you just make it in excel, and save it to dropbox. Then when you want it, you can just call it up for use.
I am going to have to get logmein.
