Hood vent Cleaning schools in Texas?

I found Phil's class in Ft. Worth I read on an old post is was part of Delco. I wonder if 500 miles away is considered competition?

Phil doesn't teach that Class, its the old PAC certification.

I believe Faciltec is in your area. Hinderliters own Facilatec Now

The current certifications are worthless. Find a QUALITY hood cleaner NOT in your area and go work for them for about 2 weeks and you will see some good ideas on whatis involved in this type of work.

Jason give Roger a call. He is doing some hoods here in Houston and attended a hood school some where. Can;t remember where. Roger is the guy you attended my school with.

Anyone willing to mentor me a week or two during this winter? I will travel anywhere from NJ To learn the ropes with hood cleaning. I definitely believe working with someone is more valuable than taking a course.(no offense Doug, your course was great!)

I'm really more interested in the hands on training that some of the Courses advertised. And I wonder about the credibility of the certification to the customer. Unless certification is required by the state, which in Texas I don't believe it is, it will take some work to explain why certification matters and the increased price. I really want to learn to do this type of work correctly, efficiently, and profitably.

I was told by a couple of vent cleaners that here in Texas, you cannot get insurance without a certificate of some type of training, kind of sucks when the schools that you hear about are questionable and from what I have heard, won't really teach you the real-world cleaning situations.

Please feel free to give me a call. I am doing vent hood cleaning in Metro Houston Area. I can give you the information you need. You can even do job with me if you want to.
