Pressure Washer Troubleshooting

I am also considering a Pressure Washer Troubleshooting educational..
I have been studying "controls" for 40 years.
When I got into this business over 25 years ago, I found technicians to be more frequently "parts-replacers"
.. with fancy wrenches, and their ability to "eliminate weakness" in a system was missing.
Whether you consider yourself a troubleshooter, or mechanically enclined, or neither,
understanding How Things Work a component at a time,
including how they fail, and how to make 'em last..
That is experience I can share, and will benefit you VERY well.
I have taught basic electricity to non-mechanically enclined,
I have taught automotive "bullit-proofing" to Off-Road enthusiasts.
I'm sure I can help you'all with some reliability issues.
So.. come to San Diego and learn how to stay on that jobsite, and YOU can more easily
and quickly eliminate problems that the "less educated" loose contracts over, time and again.

Any takers ?? :eek:k:

These are great ideas Jerry, here is another one for you.

This might take up some room in your shop but it might be a good idea to video it for later trainings.

Have a rig that has issues like sucking air into the system so they can experience what is happening and what to look for and how to fix it.

When packings are bad, what to look for, what the experience is and then show them how to change out their packings.

Burner issues, unloader issues, etc...........

Something like this would save a lot of time for a lot of us that have not had those problems......yet and to see them on video and how too diagnose them and how to fix them would be a great topic for more training.

Not trying to teach anyone to be a repair tech, just trying to learn more and how to fix things out in the field if possible as some of us are hours away a lot of times and it would be nice to be able to fix things away from the shop and or after hours.

Just some ideas Jerry.

I have been certified 2 times, Back in Milwaukee and then at Tampa. I am not on the list yet but I guess you are still making the list?

Still have not got the certification from the Tampa event, guess those are still being printed out and mailed.

Chris
you are correct I am going thru all the schools for the last year to get all
certified contractors on washwater.org which is a new site to list the certified contractors on.

You are on it now.

To get listed and to get your Certification you must attend the school and have a invoice showing school has been paid.

Some great ideas Chris and Roger.

I did not mean for my earlier post to come across as negative, I know that you guys are very busy with work and other things, that is why I mentioned that I figured that you were working on the list and stuff.

I have a lot of respect for Jerry's company and did not mean anything to be viewed as negative in case anyone thinks it was.

Thanks Jerry.

I am on the Certified Contractor List, Cool!

Now all we need is for everyone at Jerry's company start posting all over the internet with the Certified Contractor list in their signature so the spiders start picking it up and starts getting some good rank.

Chris
you are Certified you could put it on your signature also and spread the word.
That also includes everybody that is Certified put it on there signature also.

Not everybody lives in your area but if they call you because they found you on the Certified List
that is free advertising for every Certified Contractor that adds it to there signature.

For example I live in California and my Family lives in Illinios I would not go to Illinios to do the cleaning
but I would tell them to find a Certified Contractor From the Certified Contractor List for there area in Illinios
Spread the word.
