Fleet Wash reporting to EPA

I guess this is tactic to get back lost customers and hurt the competion at the same time. Seems like a desperate attempt to save themselves.

So, does that mean that we need to report them for the same? Because around here, they are the worst violators, and it is even worse, because they supposedly know better.

Highly doubtful. Their prices are too low alow them to take the time to do it properly. Plus im not sure they even use soap.

Just as an FYI to all fleet cleaners....Fw is reporting any washer into EPA for waste run off. Be on the look out as the local DEP will follow you and watch you wash for enforcement. Be careful

I wonder if Chris will chime in here? Vito reads so I know I'll get a phone call.

Those there doing the work in mobile are from here. He has a reclaim unit on 1 trailer but never uses it ever

I have seen them around and like you said the button is probably stuck in the off position, the ones that do Birmingham and Montgomery all have the same non working button too!

We reclaim all the time as all of our units have vac systems and we use safty kleen for disposal. Its not hard to follow the rules, especially if you price deals right.

The pricing here isn't that bad even after the cut. Are we swimming in cash? No. Would I like it to be more? You bet! But it is much better after they rethought their rates and now it's worth doing the work. I have heard that the east coast where they and Superior Wash are strongest is where the rates are lowest.

Just and FYI I personally do not advocate ratting on people. I know these guys also use strong sales pressure on how most do not comply.

I realize how low priced they are, I have heard it all.

This will not be a positive thread I can see.

Maybe a professional story from fleetwash on the matter?

Allison listening?

Washing BakeMark! I would never want to do that work out of a van. Too many limitations.

PS: Thanks for the photo Carlos!

I think FW was washing around 9 tractors/trailers. They didn't say anything to me. We were hired to wash inside the warehouse. I don't know too much about them as we do not do any fleet washing.
