Tony Szabo's National Wash Authority SoftWash Systems Truck "spotted"

I look up to a lot of people in this industry to better my business and the industry the best I can. I love all of you guys and just don't like to see anyone taking crap or dishing it out publicly. At least wait until all other methods are exhausted. I'm glad you guys got it worked out. Good luck Tony!

Once Again you stood behind the product, nice job AC.

Good To here you got this isolated Problem fixed.

Has this happened in any of the other units? I know Scott never said they had issues, I did notice he was using different pumps. Is the pump and option thing?

Whats the best pump in your eyes the rig should have?

Yall,

Tony and I spoke by phone a little while ago and much of this is a misunderstanding. George, Tony has NO ill will towards me and there is NO agenda. Trust me Tony is way above the frey here. I may not like the licks I am taking here but Tony and I are working it out. I was unaware of the amount of issues he was having and he delt straight with the company he bought the equipment from, Delux. Mike has done great job being a great vendor and has taken care of his customer. Tony and I have spoke about the issues and I will be helping where I can to make this a profitable piece of equipment for him.

No Drama Guys!

Thanks,

AC

Part of being on these bbs's is you need to have thick skin, just how it is otherwise you will get upset and want to take your ball home and everyone will just laugh at you.

There is a lot of un-needed drama on the bbs unfortunately, just how some people are sometimes, otherwise the bbs's are great places to learn and network.

Any issues I have heard of have derived from the pumps Delux equipped the units with. (under my recommendation) The units were equipped with the Delevan 5850 pumps. We had desired to use the Delevan Fat Boy pumps but all of the reports on the web of their failures kept us from using them. So all of the units I know that were delivered had 5850s on them. Scott switched to Flojet Penteflex and was very happy with them. I had several field testers using the Flojet product later this year so when I reintroduced the equipment line we specked in delivering our systems with that pump as standard equipment. (we are more than happy to equip the systems with Delevan, Sureflow, Flojet, Hypro, All-Flo air pumps etc. depending on the users preferences.)

As of right now I have no knowledge of any other issues with any SoftWash Systems equipment. I keep in touch with 6 users with 7 systems in use and the only issues we have had is in relation to the Delevan pumps. (this is not a dis on Delevan pumps. They just dont work for our systems.) Those users that have navigated away from the Delevans once they die have switched to the Flojet Penteflex and are doing well according to the feed back I have received.

It is important to know that all 12 volt pump manufacturers shy away from giving a warranty if bleach is sprayed from these pumps. In many cases a 12 volt pump may not last more than three months max. This depends greatly on two factors. 1. How many roofs you are cleaning over that three months. 2. Do you rinse out the pumps with at least water and preferably with SoftWash Systems Bleach Wash after each days use. A soft wash pro who is doing just a few roofs a week may get a pump to last in excess of a year easily if cared for. At Mallard Systems and TerraClean each truck did 5 to 7 thousand dollars in production each week from a pump. If it died in three months we just threw it away. It is part of the cost of doing business.

I will say this. If ANYONE is having issues with one of my SoftWash Systems that can not be resolved by phone or web support then I will gladly fly out for a day or two, fix the issue and give training, all on my dime.

Thanks,

AC

It's all good! Let's celebrate! :clapping:

Seems a lesson learned, better communication from Distributor this might have never happened. I guess the plus is better follow up from manufacture (AC) & distributor informing the right folks about the problem. All in all Lets celebrate everyone looks like they are happy.

I will also add this AC....proper nozzle size. Using smaller nozzles without the addition of an accumulator will burn up a Delevan pressure switch or motor up. Improper wiring, even connection to the battery can cause problems. I think the problems most guys have are they're on fault....most not all.

While I'm sure all new systems have some "Bugs" lets face it...It's a 12v pump, hoses, valves, a few wires and a tank or tanks.....how hard can it be to trouble shoot???

Absolutely truth spoken there. We dont advocate going smaller than a 30 oraface.

Thanks to all, and sorry if some may have been confused about the situation. The post started off wrong and misleading to readers with wrong statements. I was really shocked to see anything posted at all, then statements that were not true frosted by behind.

We are all good with this now between AC and Mike. Drama was fast and furious, and done and over.

AC is a great educator, took his class of a week and it was very awarding and beneficial.

Mike Hinderliter at powerwash.com is a extremely ethical business-man that conducts business on good moral standards.

Ron,

I cant even remember what issue Tony had with his pump. It has been so long ago and we have sold about 70 systems since then. The only problem we have with the pumps we use is that we burn them up. About three pumps a year. However the average SoftWash Systems Cradle Skid System produces $250k a year if doing mostly residential work and $350k if leaning mostly towards commercial. Our pump is about a $500.00 pump and we have just put at peace in our minds that if we have to spend $1,500.00 to make $250k that is OK in our books.

Tony Still Washing?

Yes he is. His old softwash system that was made when we had an agreement with Delux Cleaning Supply was actually completely damaged when his shop caught fire last year and his trucks were inside. He lost everything. He bought one of Paul's Water Dragon skids to replace it. I believe he has recovered from the fire.
