PWNA LOOKING for MOds

I found the thread to be very interesting also. I never joined that spring. I called and requested a free introductory package (I think that was the name of it) and never received it. So, I never got around to calling again. I will say, that the PWNA promotes itself more than at that time.

Have you seen anything change?

$55.00 drop is a good deal. I wish some of my organizational fees would drop. $195.00 a year is pretty good. I know of organizations that charge $700.00 or so.

$195.00 divided by 12 = $16.25 a month.

That about the cost of a subscription to a magazine. Good price - A person should be able to get their return value - thats for sure.

Did the PWNA do anything with this post - Do they offer flyers to their members and foster the promotion of one another (Organization/Member Relationship)? I sure see the logo everywhere on the boards. Thats a good sign..

I am hanging in as a team player - There are some moves being made that I consider forward progress. I was a die-hard, firm believer in the bbs, but hey, that's gone to a degree so I must focus my energy elsewhere. A current project that I am working on is establishing professional chapters in each state. I will contribute to the best of my ability to make the PWNA something that works for our company as well as the industry. As a local physical presence, I believe more can be accomplished than behind a keyboard.

I'm having no regrets with my decision to join, volunteer and try to do something constructive.

I have always like these bb's and as long as I stay in this business I will participate in them like I do today because I enjoy them and I consider alot of people on these as my "Internet" Friends and some ot those actually becoming Friends in the "Flesh". (Does that make any sense?)

A few years ago I felt that the bb's were just about the most important way to get things to happen. As time went on I started to see that in person or via phone was and still is the better way to get things done. Deals and moves are done this way. So I and a bunch of others feel that to get things done we must do it the old fashion way which is "Direct" contact thru people. This is why you will see alot more time dedicated towards getting the Roundtables and Chapter meetings running full steam ahead. Its all about the People contact. I hear that BOMA which is a highly respected Building Owners and Managers Association is ran where there are Monthly meetings where people get together to make contacts and network network network.

So as for today with the PWNA this is the direction that where heading. There's alot of people who are Excited about this new direction so lets keep our fingers crossed and see how it progresses...
