Protect from Freezing

Just a quick reminder.. tonight is going to be one of the coldest yet this winter for the Eastern US. Here in South Carolina, it's probably the first night where it's going to be cold enough to damage things like pressure washers and DI tanks.

Make sure you take them inside or do whatever you usually do to protect them from freezing. I'll be turning on the heater in the trailer to keep it a nice 50 degrees inside.

They're calling for mid 20s tonight and mid teens tomorrow night in Maryland. Highs in the low 30s tomorrow with heavy winds. I winterized all equipment this afternoon and will be taking a few days off. Looking forward to the temps. being back near 50 by Friday.

I can't help myself

You guys are a great influence! Keeps me going... I just blew mine out last night, it should be ok in the box truck. I thought about getting block heaters to put on the pumps, but I still wouldn't be comfortable with leaving water in the system.

what Chris said we are back to work Thursday in Towson

We havent stopped. Running washer fluids thru every night theres a chance to get close to freezing. I think we have already worked more night below freezing then I can say we ever have in the past. This is when you learn how to be flexible and work your office (selling, closing end of year, getting things ready for spring, etc...)

Hard freeze for FL tonite, just got done covering the plants. Rig is in a garage as it always is, but I will bet u that we will be boating again next week...lol
