Do a search for water tank distributors and you will see a lot of companies out there like Tank Depot, Tractor supply, Northern Tool, USPlastic.com, national tank outlet, snyder, etc....

Are you putting this on a trailer or in a truck?

That is a large tank, I am guessing that you are having to haul water to the job.

Call Kentucky Tank. They are just south of me in Shepherdsville.

you can go to rural king in jeffersonville, or TSC in Sellersburg and they are cheaper there. I know the guys at Kentucky tank, great guys, but as far as price, you wont get them any cheaper than rural king or TSC. I just bought a 550 gallon for my acid from rural king, great price on it. Ive never seen any horizontal legs at TSC but I know rural king has them

ok thanks guys il check with kentucky tank and harrington first before i start with rural king. this is going in a new 16ft ford box truck this i just acquired for this year im so happy to get away from this little trailer i was working off of. Should i be looking into anti slosh balls? do they really make a difference? also any opinions on tank placement i really would like it to be right against the cab i dont really think it would be too tough on the truck if im full.

16 foot is not that big. I would DEFINITELY look at a smaller tank, unless you need that much water on the majority of your jobs. Also, keep in mind that with that big a tank, you are getting to the point where a CDL with a tank endorsement is required.

yea if its something like a E-350, its going to be way over wieght, and in Indiana you'll have to register it with DOT, I got hit with a inspection several months ago. They think your over wieght, theyre going to roll out the scales! I can give you the number to the DOT officer that helped us. Lots of stuff you need to know when you move to a bigger truck!

Yea guys its an e350. 5.4 gas. after a little thought im thinking a 735 gal would suite me just fine. im getting into fleetwashing and i just want to have as much water with me as possible. and what point would i need DOT registration i thought at 16k lbs i would need registered because it becomes commercial with a chauffers license requirement wich i already have.

Most of the E350 box trucks I have seen like from Ryder, UHaul, Budget, etc.... have been like GVWR at 12,000 or less.

The e-350 trucks typically with a box at 16ft are 9000 lbs maybe a little more with nothing but the driver and fuel in it. Consider that water is 8.34 lbs a Gallon approx a 735 gallon tank will make the truck weigh over 15000 lbs without a pressure washer in there as well.

Consider a bigger truck or a tank a 1/3 the size especially if you are considering ever driving with over a 1/3 a tank of water.

I made this mistake when I first started by getting a truck just like this and putting a tank to big in it. I had no idea at first as I just figured this was a truck and should be able to handle this. It was not until I rolled over some scales at customer's locations that I figured out how over weight I was. I cut all the weight I could as quickly as I could, ie engine size and excess stuff in the truck, but that still left me over weight. Every time I saw the truck police I would cringe and hope I was not getting pulled over, went around every road scale and drove carefully as to not have an accident.

Your suspension and brakes are your biggest concern as neither were built to handle the weight. You will still be able to stop, but not quickly at not at what ford designed the truck for. Another issue you could have is if an accident were to happen and the other party figured out how over weight you were insurance could not pay and you could face a law suit from the other driver.

The other thing to remember is that your suspension and brakes will wear out fast and you will be replacing these often. Your MPG's with that gas engine and a full tank will also make you great friends with the gas station owners in your area as well.
