Water Tank Filter

I would get a large sample of that water and take it to a place like culligan as it could be different things and a particulate filter might not be enough, you might need a carbon filter and/or particulate filter and/or something else, you don't know what it is until you have it tested then you can get the filter you need.

If you ever pump reclaim water.. double that.

Whatever you do.. ALLWAYS use a clear-bowl filter so the users can SEE what's going wrong
.. BEFORE it causes downtime.

Is that a metal gas tank that you carry, I would like to have one that holds about 20 gals for gas, let me know if you can make/ get one you have my cell number!
 
That's a diesel engine.
I can get fuel cells in any material you like.
Gasoline tanks have new limitations, so prices have gone up a bit,
but diesel fuel is easy.. it isn't the hazard in vapor-form as gasoline.
I did some research on gas tanks in the past 2 months and have a few shapes in the 20gl range.

It is a Vanguard-Daihatsu Diesel
they have been great motors
I like ALL the Japanese diesels
35hp gets this 24gpm system up to 1800 psi

We built 4 of 'em for a shipyard for rinsing ships after rennovations.

can you say.. 3 wand soft-wash system ?? :{)

..and the new version will have a smaller footprint by about 12".
 
I would look at renting softener tanks first that should filter the water down enough to eliminate the filming issues. You will also notice the detergents performing better for you as well. If that doesn't do it you may have to step up to DI tanks or an RO system, but i really think the softener will be enough.
