New Web Site

Please take a look and give me some feed back! Unfortunatly this is my second attempt at having a website built. The first time was a complete disaster. I hired a local computer nerd. I have never been so close to ripping someones head off once I saw my site from him. It looked like a 3rd grader built it. And, Yes I did get all but $100 back from him. I think he needed the money to go and buy new shorts after he came to my house and I told him exactly what I thought.

This time around went as smooth as silk! Anya from Amidextrous services was joy to work with. She is married to the owner of ARC Powerwashing in NC. My stress level on this project was 0%. Thank you Anya!

I do need to chang one picture under the about us page. I dont know where she got that picture. I am not nearly that good looking. And would hate to dissapoint someone when I show up.........

Please take a look, Let me know what would be good to change.
Thanks.

Anya did my site as well. Nice work. I don't like the contact page where you have to enter the code to send the email. Mine has it as well and I have had no luck getting it taken off of my site.

Have you noticed an increase in phone calls because of the site?

Its a fallacy that been uncorrected that once a website is up and running it will drive customers. I would constantly monitor your sites performance with google anaytics. Ask your designer to incorporate the analytics code into your website. I had a previous site that looked great but lacked functionality, sites today should be dsigned to drive business and the only way to do that is to have the site designed SEARCH ENGINE FRIENDLY. Only an SEO/WEBSITE company can do that. The google analytics code will let you see whom and from where your site is being visited.

The fact is to get your site found and to drive traffic you must optimize it. Learn the deal now as it took me over a year to realize just how the whole system works. Had I had the advice I am giving you now -my business surely wouldve done better. Its a shame you werent able to read up on it before getting your site built. If I could do it over again -I wouldve spent $1200 instead of $400 to get my site the relevancy it needed. This means text writing/blogging/metatags/links and generally having the spiders be able to pick up and read a functioning site.

Good luck to you

I believe entering the code is a captcha. When your site starts ranking well you're subject to spam. It's a minor nuisance but it's better than getting a zillion inquiries from Russia that try and sell you fake Viagra.

Actually, Anya builds sites with SEO in mind.. If you look at the sites she's built and then see where they're placing on Google, you'll see what she's capable of.

Yeah William, you should remove it right away! That way while people are calling to sell you google placement, you can also get bombarded with spam from your contact form. :happydance:

I do my own which is why it is not the best, but when I have more money than time I will likely ask Pat Motz or a local guy here to take it over.
