Houston Texas Roundtable Luncheon

Doug Rucker

Roundtable Host 2009
On Thursday April 19[SUP]th[/SUP] 2012, at 1pm, UAMCC President Ron Musgraves and I would like to invite Houston Texas Area Pressure Washing Contractors to attend an Educational Meeting that we will be hosting to discuss our progress on Enforcement Issues of the Clean Water Act (CWA) by the Houston Police Department.

In the past 2 years, Ron and I have had many discussions with City of Houston representatives, enforcement personnel, and others in regards to how they have been interpreting the CWA.

While we have made great strides, we realize we still have a ways to go, and we would like to get together with as many Pressure Washing Contractors as we can. The purpose of the meeting, as I previously stated, is to update you on the progress we have made, in fact we have several meetings scheduled the whole week of April 16[SUP]th[/SUP] -20[SUP]th[/SUP], with many City Officials, as Ron will be with us for five days, but we also need to get your input, ideas, and questions. We need to hear from as many as we can.

This will be a great opportunity for you to ask questions of UAMCC President Ron Musgraves, who is the industries foremost, experienced, trusted and knowledgeable resource on environmental and CWA issues. No one has done more in such a short amount time for us here in Houston than Ron Musgraves. As one City Official said after meeting with Ron, “In 16 years, No one has ever explained it to us like you have, where were you 16 years ago.

Meeting Place will be at Spring Creek Barbeque located at 5613 FM 1960 Humble Texas 77346 at 1pm Thursday April 19[SUP]th[/SUP], 2012.

The meeting room will hold approximately 30-40 people. You must make a reservation by calling or texting me at 281.883.8470. If more than 30-40 make reservations I will get a larger room so reserving your spot is a must. Food or Drink purchases are the responsibility or each attendee.

Thanks Tony, we are at the point that we need to keep all the area contractors in the loop, but more importantly get there input and ideas as well. Our goal is not to create an us vs them, and them being the City, but foster a relationship with the City whereby we can help to educate the city on responsible environmental cleaning practices.

Thanks doug and ron for all that you are doing for us in the industry. My father and I will be there. If you need us for anything let me know. Just tryin to be part of a solution

Will try and make it if Im still alive in 2812 but I doubt it

How far out is Humble? I have not been there, it is about 4 hours to Houston, just wondering how much more of a drive it will be.

Just curious why not there in Houston, more central and closer to other contractors?

Chris, Humble is about 20-30 minutes north of Downtown and is also home to the George H.W. Bush Intercontinental Airport. Google maps says 4 hours 10 minutes from Corpus Christi. No matter where you have it in Houston some contractors will have to drive 30 minutes to an hour, and some more to get to wherever we have it. There is no central location for everyone in a city this size.

I'll be excited to be in Houston
Hey Ron take alot of pics and video if you can so the ones who arent going can see exactly what the goal was there and how it worked out. I wish I made the last one because of never getting a straight story as to what happened by a few individiuals so it will be good to see it from the Presidents point of view. Guilty parties please don't reply... Give it to us straight without the hype.

If you don't understand what's been going on here by now, maybe you need some hype....
disregard.. Debating this helps no one---- Good luck and hopefully this turns out to be a successful event..

This just a little network event, nothing major happening.

We are just sharing learning an doing a little socializing in Houston.

Doug & myself are working together for meeting with folks on a separate platform. I know he will give them an invite to our meeting. If they accept will attempt to hammer some solutions an clarify the changes.

We still get different answers at times. This creates an un fair market.

Are you going to arrange a super secret meeting with the EPA? You should probably compare how big your vacuums are too.

If Gene is going, does that mean Ron is giving away money? As for him being alive, comments reserved..:D

I can neither confirm nor deny that statement, but I can give you a sneak peak of the new prototype vacuum system I am working on. Trying to get something that will be easy to manuever and will not require a bull dozer to transport.
