Problem with Screen Enclosure Frame

The picture shows and example of a clients screen enclosure frame. There are about 15 faded areas like this one on the enclosure with this one being on the door. Is there anything other than replacing or repainting that can be done to restore these areas? When it gets wets it looks perfect again but after drying these faded areas return. Thanks!

I have seen it myself David. Repainting them seems to be about the only answer. I have a friend who is a painter and I have seen a couple that he has re- painted. They come out great.

The reason the bronze looks like that is because when the enclosure was new they touched up the scratches with a spray can. So just know that if it is sprayed with a can the paint will all fade like that in a few years. I have been doing screens for about twenty years so I have seen it all. You can get a better quality paint from Porter and have a painter re-spray the metal but the porch will have to be rescreened.
