Roof Snot as a house wash soap??

To make a long story short, I had a roof mix in my only soap tank on my trailer. Mix was 20 gallons 12.5%, 30 gallons water, and some Roof Snot. I had some house washes lined up and had to DS this mix as a house wash, which isn't much different from my HW mix (only difference is Simple Cherry instead of Roof Snot). I was VERY impressed. As you would expect, the wash really hung onto the siding and I found that it cleaned faster since it was staying on there instead of running off. It rinsed fine and it seemed to make us more efficient.

Anyone ever used RS as their house wash soap?? Pros/cons??

Daniel, I have had several people tell me that Roof Snot works great in a housewash mix.

I have been using it same as you because I didn't want to waste my leftover roof mix. No problems for me and it seems to work well. Sometimes I will add a shot of soap as a degreaser.

Hey Russ I tried that sample and it worked real good. I was going to order a 5 gal from u and the shipping was as much as the product? I think they wanted $68.00 to ship a 5 gal bucket.

I tried the roof snot the other day on some very bad mold and algae and usually I will use about 1.5 of the 5 gallon buckets of house wash mix to downstream and have to hit the bad areas anywhere from 3 to 5 times. I only had to hit the bad areas 2 times and I still had some house wash mix left in the original 5 gallon bucket so I used less mix, did the house wash faster and got great results.

I will need to order a bucket of this stuff.

Thanks Russ!

I've been thinking I would like to start washing houses and roofs but I have two problems:
1= Lack of funds. I'm trying to build my business as I go so I don't have alot of the stuff I need,ie... d/s injection system and some good chemicals.
2= Seems everyone has there own mix for roofs and a different mix for houses. I do alot of reading in these forums and I guess I'm getting a little confused about the mixes. So can someone please tell me the differences in the two and give me a solid mix formula for each?

Snot is the word, it's got groove, it's got meaning, snot is the time, is the place, is the motion, Snot.
