Page 1 on Google for Pressure Washing

G'day Everyone, hope you are well...

I have noticed some of the sub-domains on pressure washing.net just starting to get indexed in the last few days. Literally only a couple of hours ago, I noticed a few more sub domains being indexed.

I have also just noticed, our first page 1 rankings achieved on Google and not for some long tail keyword phrase that nobody will type in, but for the following searches:

pressure washing Pittsburgh
pressure washing Massachusetts

I have noticed many other page 2 rankings including:

house washing Los Angeles (a tough competitive market with 17 million results for that particular search phrase)

It's very early days for pressure washing.net, we still have not yet officially launched, but this milestone is very reassuring and gives me the determination to continue to create the most trafficked website in the pressure washing industry and deliver excellent returns on investment for all of the exclusive members.

It is a milestone that I was expecting. I wasn't sure how long it was going to take. Turns out it took less time than our development team could even deliver the website ready for launch. We have had some challenges of late and that has resulted in our launch being slightly delayed. But when it does launch very soon, the rankings are only going to improve and I cannot wait for that! Page 1 is not good enough. I will not rest until we are PAGE 1 NUMBER 1 for all of our members.

Happy Marketing!

pressurewashing.net is nothing like service magic for 2 reasons....Number 1 because we don't have our members or subscriberscompeting against each other.
Also an important point to understand is it is not me asyou say that has out SEO'd his site...the site or sub domain http://pittsburgh.pressurewashing.net that appears on the front page belongs to the member. When you click on that link you are taken not to the main site with competing businesses, but to the member's site.

It is the member who will eventually outrank themselves if you want to put it that way. I see it as further cementing dominance in the SERPs. The front page is valuable real estate on the search engines, therefore isn't it a good idea to occupy as many spots on the front page as possible?

pressurewashing.net is not designed to compete against member's primary domains. To the contrary, by building outbound links on their pressurewashing.net sub-domain, a member can achieve higher rankings for their primary website. Some searches they may rank better with their primary domain, other searches with thier pressurewashing.net sub domain. Both sites are theirs!

The reason the links are re-directed to Grime Scene is I copied and pasted then expanded an early post on that forum. I should have edited the links (my mistake).

Usually links from the grime scene revert. back to the Bbs, Ive been wondering when you were going to get this site going, I'm looking forward to the challenge. As soon as I finish up some other projects I've got going on I'll start rolling out some competition for you. I own some really nice web property myself but I've been too busy to roll them out to full capacity, so I've just been letting them age for five years or so.

www.pressurewashing.net is 11 years, 58 days old according to http://www.veign.com/tools/domain-age/index.php

I have a few other domains (including concretecleaning.com I notice you have concrete-cleaning.com)

pressure washing has the largest volume of searches per month in the US (for the services side of the industry)
It nearly doubles the next best power washing. The only searches that have more volume in the industry are pressure washer and power washer which are more for the equipment side.

I wouldn't want to start a website of this nature with any other domain.
Another thing too Henry is this not a side project for me. I have other streams of income but this is the only project I am involved in, therefore my focus is this and only this.
I have also done this before in the Australian marketplace and have learned a lot over the last 5 years. Knowledge that only experience will garner.

PM me your email address please Matthew and I will send you a full price list.
Prices vary depending on both population and marketplace.
I believe the development team are very close to finishing, I have a conference call with them in the morning and depending on the outcome of that it could be as early as this week.

I wasn't suggesting your business model was like SM, just that the reason they outrank their members own website is because they have a better understanding of basic onpage SEO than people new to the SERP game.

Sorry for the confusion...

the site or sub domain that appears on the front page belongs to the member. When you click on that link you are taken not to the main site with competing businesses, but to the member's site.

My point was the difference in some simple settings that would have put his domain on page 1....almost like two different people made them. Does the user set these pages up or is it done by pressurewashing.net?

Member's have full control of their sub-domains Cyclone. However I am more than happy to help so the initially set up. Also give everyone the training that they need to be able to do it themselves. I have started to create how to step by step videos which covers all of the onpage SEO stuff you are talking about. Along with tips regarding off-site SEO as well. The system is very user friendly and designed to be easy enough for everybody to add new content regularly.

Update: We have achieved our first number 1 organic ranking for Fleet Washing Pittsburgh (Actually in Position 1 and 2 and Member's primary domain is in Position 4)

Glad to hear it Cullen, age is one important piece in Seo, but there are a lot of pieces to it. This isn't a side gig for me either, just not a high priority. But since I'll be giving away some sub domains on my system I doubt I will have problems getting people to sign up.

Like I said this should be fun!

The free model is a great way to grow a brand quickly and can be very successful, no doubt about it. There are many examples of that out there including in the pressure washing industry.
The challenge is to find an effective way to monetize the website, in order to be able to compete with other sites who will be spending both money and time on SEO. That is the tough part!

That is a very old domain, and used to belong to a pressure washing forum, if I recall ?

2 weeks is a long time in SEO.

A majority of our members are now on the front page of Google. Most of the sub-domains are not even indexed on Yahoo or Bing. Pittsburgh who is one of the few indexed on Yahoo is in the number 1 organic spot on Yahoo for pressure washing pittsburgh, beating competition that has probably been there for many years.

Here I was 2 weeks ago excited that our Los Angeles member was on the second page for house washing los angeles, now he is first page, second place and ranking on the first page for pressure washing Los Angeles.
Also ranking on the first page for many keyword phrases are our members from ventura county colorado springs little rock port charlotte Fresno central nj fayetteville wilmington and des moines

We have members ranking in the number 1 organic spot on google for searches like fleet washing and driveway cleaning.

We got some work to do or time to bide for our other members in some tough markets such as portland phoenix san diego virginia beach and raleigh

70% of members now ranking on the front page of Google for pressure washing. Although I am pleased with the speed of these results, We got work to do......Stay tuned!
