replacing swivel on 28" hydrotwister

Does anybody know if there is a retro Mosmatic swivel kit for a Hydrotwister. Will never buy another Hydrotwister again but thought if I could replace the swivel thats on there with a high quality one I would keep it for awhile longer. Does Mosmatic make there own swivels or are the built by a secondary company? I have an older Northern surface cleaner as well and replaced its swivel years ago with , I think a Mosmatic and it is still as smooth as when it was installed. Its only a 20" tho and I can clean faster with the 28" obviously.

If i'm not mistaken the hydrotek surface cleaners have mosmatic swivels on them. I have two 28" and they both have momatics on them. I think they are DXF series.

A mosmatic swivel should bolt right on to your surface cleaner. If not, there is an adapter plate available to fit about anything.

Same here on the hydrotwister like the way it cleans but they have little bity 1/4 inch fittings on them come on hydrotek get with the program.It cleans ok though the top of it gets to much rust looking stuff on it and it gets you to wet when you are cleaning.

Yes mosmatic makes a conversion kit that fits all the different brands. The entire kit including bar, nozzles, swivel, and adapter plate is usually around $300.

The swivel on mine has had slop in it pretty much from day one. I have a mosmatic on my older smaller SC and when I shut it down during use the spinner continues to spin for quite some time after water is shut down, sounds like a helicopter spinning down. My hydrotwister pretty much comes to a stop moments after shutting off water. The spinner arm on the HT is a joke as well. Very flimsy and gets out of wack really easy if even a small obstacle gets under it. Just really dissatisfied with it and figured at least possibly I could retro it and salvage the machine.
