this is going to sound stupid, but do i ask the manager of the condo complex to make sure all the windows are shut before i clean the buildings?

thanks, i'll make sure to put it in the proposal. went and priced my first condo job today. the hardest part when your new at something is giving the price. I came up with 4 hundred a building for five viynle buildings. i will know if i hit my $$$ target after i am done. he said that that sounds fair. he wants me to send the proposal so ill just have to wait and see if i hear back.

I put it into the notice that I send out (to the property mgr) at least 72 hours before the cleaning so everyone is aware. It's a good idea to have the decks cleared off or anything else that can be damaged by chems/sh. By sending the notice you are released from liability and the property mgr will be on your side as the residents were told. Worst case is you just go around the open windows I have never had to go back to touch up because I notified them before I started.

Many contractors make 100-200/hr this helps cover expenses, pay yourself, and put money back into the biz so you can grow for next year.
$200 an hour ? For what a four hour house wash? Try getting $200 an hour up my way. A brand new tractor trailer rig only gets $100 an hour and that costs 125k just to purchase let alone ins, reg, and so on. 200 just ain't happening.

So you don't think you would ever be able to bid a project for $600 and and complete the project in 3 hours??

Or bid $100 and finish it in half an hour??
